It's a smart transitional technology, I think. The switch to CNG is less daunting for new users as CNG infrastructure is still being developed in many areas and having a petrol backup. It's also helping push adoption of cleaner fuels.

I can attest that the Supro Ambulance is surprisingly capable as someone who has driven it in city and rural settings. A huge plus about its compact size is that I've squeezed through gaps in urban traffic that would leave larger ambulances stuck. The suspension works okay, bouncing away larger potholes though you can feel road bumps out on the rural roads.

I have to disagree. The Supro's equipment feels outdated to me because I have worked with ambulances in the UK. It doesn't leave room for a proper cardiac monitor, or advanced airway management tools. Transport is fine, but true emergency care isn't.

Both of you are right, but it really depends on context. The Supro is less efficient in urban areas with lots of hospitals. That extra range could be the difference between a patient in a rural area being stranded, or being able to reach them.

I think it's a bit of both. Mahindra's marketing oversells the system, but the system does work. It won’t make the Scorpio-N into a hardcore off roader, but it does make it more capable than your average SUV. It's up to the buyer if that is worth the price.

It depends on your use case, I think. The manual is great for enthusiasts — and rural drivers. However, because there is no auto option, urban families that are looking for a comfortable SUV might simply opt for other brands. This might be costing Mahindra a big chunk of potential buyers.

I actually like the interior. It’s not pretending to be something it’s not. It's functional, it's spacious and it fits the Scorpio character. Could it be better? Sure. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be though. I think it's honest, and that has value.

I don't think so. Better fuel economy, more features and easier to drive in the city are some of the advantages crossovers have over their predecessors. The Scorpio feels old-fashioned by comparison. If you had a choice between flip phone and a smartphone, it's similar to that.

Well, I think it really depends on what you are using the Scorpio for. However, if that’s mainly for off roading or work purposes, the basic infotainment is fine. For daily commuters or families, it's a big miss. This aspect should have been put more effort by Mahindra.

It's a mixed bag for me. It's comfortable enough around town. On long highway drives, I start to notice that the shortcomings start to show, however. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible. Mahindra still has some work to do in this department, I think.

I’ve ridden in one during peak summer and it makes a difference. It doesn’t just blast from a few vents, the air is more evenly distributed. It was definitely more comfortable than other MPVs I’ve been in.

That's a smart move for Mahindra. It's a chance to get some of their SUV tech back, while still making a family hauler that's comfortable. This saves on development costs and it provides them with a unique selling point.

It’s 4 stars, which is good, but let’s not pretend it’s revolutionary. These days plenty of cars get 5 stars. It's not something to brag about, it should be the minimum standard.

The shark design I think actually works pretty well. In a segment full of boring boxes on wheels, it gives the Marazzo some character. Of course, it’s still really obviously an MPV, but at least Mahindra tried to make it look interesting.
