Does the Tata Safari actually have an ADAS system?
26 December 2024 10:01
I honestly think it’s more hype than substance. Lane keep assist is pretty aggressive, adaptive cruise control is hit or miss. Systems from more experienced brands are not as refined.
So how do you compare the off road capability of the Tata Safari to its name?
26 December 2024 10:01
I do believe people are too hung up on the past. The new Safari is designed for what most people actually use SUVs for: comfortable family transport with the occasional light off road use. It's changed, just as the market has.
Is all the black interior in the Safari Dark Edition too hot in Indian summers?
26 December 2024 09:44
The black shows every speck of dust and the heat is manageable. Keeping it clean is a pain.
The Safari Dark Edition has an infotainment system, but how does it compare to tech savvy competitors?
26 December 2024 09:44
Its physical buttons for key functions are something I also like. Much safer than trying to fumble with a touchscreen.
Is the Safari Dark Edition’s third row actually usable for adults?
26 December 2024 09:44
Compared to others in the segment, the third row is actually pretty decent. At least you get AC vents.
How is the Safari Dark Edition in Indian road conditions in comparison to other SUVs in the segment?
26 December 2024 09:44
The black paint of the Dark Edition shows every scratch from our crazy traffic. It looks good but it's high maintenance.
How much extra does the Tata Safari Dark Edition command over the regular model?
26 December 2024 09:44
Overpriced for sure. If you wanted, you could use the savings to get the regular Safari and then use the savings to buy some sick aftermarket upgrades.
Is the Tata Winger the ultimate affordable camping van?
26 December 2024 09:27
Absolutely! A blank canvas for the DIY enthusiast is the Winger. If you have a bit of imagination, you can make it into a cosy home on wheels without spending a fortune.
Is the Tata Winger comfortable and feature laden enough to take on the modern minivans?
26 December 2024 09:27
The simplicity of the Winger is its strength. It's less likely to have expensive electronic failures down the road and easier to maintain.
Could the Tata Winger be turned into an off road adventure vehicle?
26 December 2024 09:27
With overlanding in mind, the Winger’s boxy shape is perfect for the build. Lots of room for gear, and simple to throw a roof rack or rooftop tent on top.
Is the Tata Winger a good candidate for conversion to a mobile home office?
26 December 2024 09:27
It’s very hard to beat from a cost perspective. For a fraction of the cost of renting a traditional workspace, you could create a fully functional mobile office.
Is the Mahindra XEV 9e’s 200 km/h top speed realistic or just for show?
26 December 2024 09:06
Typically the better all around performance comes from a higher top speed. It’s about being able to go 200 km/h, but not actually going 200 km/h, so that you can cruise the highway more smoothly.
What will the Mahindra XEV 9e’s rear wheel drive setup do for the EV driving experience in India?
26 December 2024 09:06
It might be too much for average Indian drivers. Wet conditions are tricky on RWD and we get some heavy monsoons.
So is the Mahindra XEV 9e’s ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) features practical in Indian driving conditions?
26 December 2024 09:06
It could actually teach drivers how to drive in lanes properly and also keep safe following distances. It’s like having a driving instructor with you all the time.
Is the party trick feature of the Mahindra XEV 9e really useful, or just a gimmick?
26 December 2024 09:06
Useless feature. But I’d rather have better range or faster charging than a dancing car. First Mahindra should focus on the basics.
Can the Mahindra XEV 9e performance and features be a ‘Thar killer’ in India?
26 December 2024 09:06
No way! The Thar and the XEV 9e are two totally different beasts. One is for off roading adventures, the other for tech geeks who want to show off.
Is the Mahindra BE 6e Mahindra rushing into the premium EV segment?
26 December 2024 08:09
After sales service is what I’m worried about. Mahindra doesn’t have the best track record with electronics, and EVs are complex. What if something goes wrong?
Will the Indian market take to the Mahindra BE 6e's design?
26 December 2024 08:09
The thing I’m worried about is practicality. Although those sharp angles might look cool, what about visibility? Good luck finding a local garage that can repair those fancy body panels.
Will the BE 6e’s infotainment system be good enough to use daily?
26 December 2024 08:09
I think it's the right step. People love Tesla's been doing this for years. We have to accept that the future of car interiors is what we have to embrace.
Will the BE 6e's door handles and HUD, unique to this car, be practical in everyday use?
26 December 2024 08:09
In emergencies, the door handles might be a problem. Think about trying to exit quickly after an accident and having to fiddle with a mechanism you don’t know.
