So, how is the Aerox 155 to commute in Bangalore’s notorious traffic and roads?
Traffic in Bangalore is famously difficult, and its roads are not all created equally. Any vehicle can be a true test of the city's congested streets, unexpected potholes and frequent stop and go traffic. This is a big issue for Aerox 155 owners or potential buyers in Bangalore. The scooter looks sporty and the engine seems powerful and indicates good performance, but then, how practical is it in real Bangalore? With all of these things considered, such as the fac that the scooter should be easily maneuverable in tight spaces, comfortable over long durations in traffic, and able to handle rough terrain, among others, it can be easy to overlook the topic of range. Also, many urban riders are interested in fuel efficiency in stop and go traffic and ease of finding parking for a premium scooter in crowded areas.
It’s surprisingly good in traffic too! The Aerox is nimble enough to bust through gaps, and the CVT makes stop and go a breeze. Be wary of those killer potholes – the stiff suspension can be harsh.
It’s honestly overkill for Bangalore traffic. It's less practical for carrying stuff and you rarely get to use all that power, because there's no flat floorboard. Sometimes a regular scooter might be better.
It's great for Bangalore. The wider tires help you to feel more confident on sketchy roads, and the power helps you to easily get away from traffic lights. Heavy traffic takes a hit on fuel efficiency.
It's a mixed bag. It’s great for those rare occasions where the roads are clear, but the sporty riding position can become tiring in long traffic jams. And parking an expensive scooter can be stressful.
I am an Aerox lover as a daily commuter in Bangalore. It's got enough grunt to easily overtake when needed, but it’s the higher seating position that gives better visibility in traffic. Don’t be surprised if you get a lot of attention at signals!
