Is the Aerox 155 a good first step on the ladder of performance two wheelers?
The Aerox 155 is an interesting option for many young riders or those looking to upgrade from basic commuter vehicles because it is an entry point into performance oriented two wheelers. More powerful and feature rich than your average scooter, it could be a bridge between scooters and motorcycles. However, this leads to questions about its use as a learning platform for those who intend to one day ride more powerful machines. That brings me to the Aerox’s handling, how it teaches throttle control and cornering techniques, and whether the automatic transmission helps or hinders the development of skills that can be applied to the other motorcycles. On top of that, you can gain confidence with a more powerful engine, but without the limitations of a scooter. The question is often asked whether the Aerox is a good compromise between performance and manageability for newer riders or whether they should start with a conventional scooter or jump to a motorcycle.

I found it super helpful as a person who started on an Aerox before going to bikes. It was forgiving, and taught me about weight transfer in corners and handling more power. Great confidence builder!

I personally feel that it is better to start with a regular bike. The automatic transmission of the Aerox may have you form bad habits, and it could be harder to switch to a manual bike laster.

It's a great starter for performance enthusiasts. It’s powerful enough to be exciting, but the CVT makes it less daunting. And, the sporty ergonomics put you in sport bike postures.

I would say it's a little bit of a mixed bag. It’s good for learning throttle control and cornering, but you miss out on essential skills such as clutch control and gear management that you need for bikes.

Absolutely! The Aerox is the perfect stepping stone. It gives you a taste of performance without the fear of a full bike. A great confidence builder with more power and better handling.
