Is the Aprilia RS 150 a good bike for long distance touring?
16 January 2025 07:11
It's surprisingly capable! Twisty mountain roads are sheer joy due to the sporty handling. You just need to be prepared for more frequent maintenance stops.
How mod friendly is the Aprilia RS 150 compared to its rivals?
16 January 2025 07:11
Simple mods like levers and grips are good. Any more complex and you are flirting with reliability problems, which are already something to worry about with Aprilia.
Does the Aprilia RS 150 justify the premium pricing?
16 January 2025 07:11
That really depends on what you’re looking for. If you want something unique and don’t mind spending extra for the brand then go for it. If you're practical, then there are better options.
Can the Aprilia RS4 125 be a daily commuter or a weekend fun bike?
16 January 2025 07:03
It's a compromise. This is not the best commuter, nor the best weekend bike, but it’s pretty good at both. The jack of all trades and master of none.
But how does the Aprilia RS4 125 fare compared to other 125cc sports bikes in real world performance?
16 January 2025 07:03
They’re all pretty similar performance wise. It's not so much which one is faster as it is which one makes you feel like a badass and for me, that's the Aprilia.
Are RS4 125 owners' problems deal breakers, and what are the most common issues?
16 January 2025 07:03
The fuel pump problem is a pretty common one, but it’s a relatively simple fix. Not a deal breaker if you know your way around tools.
Is the extra money for the Aprilia RS4 125 worth it over its competitors?
16 January 2025 07:03
It depends on what you value. But, if you’re looking for something different, something that stands out, then yes. If you’re simply after reliable transport, probably not.
Is the Aprilia RS4 125 a good beginner bike?
16 January 2025 07:03
I’ve had my RS4 125 for about a year now, and it’s been pretty solid. It’s not bad at all, sure it needs a bit more attention than a Japanese bike, but if you stay on top of maintenance it will be just fine.
Would you rather have the look of the Tuono 457 or the RS457?

On the other hand, the Tuono's design will be a bit more practical for daily riding.

For the price, the Tuono’s uniqueness is justified. This is not just another cookie cutter bike.
How does the Tuono 457 fare against the KTM Duke 390 for city and highway riding?
15 January 2025 09:38
I like the duke for its agility, but the duke's engine is a bit on the rough side for long distance riding.

Is the Aprilia Tuono 660’s vibrations as bad as some people say they are?
15 January 2025 09:27
I think it's overblown. Every bike vibrates to some extent. Apart from anything else, the Tuono 660 isn't any worse than other twins I've ridden.
How does the Aprilia Tuono 660 perform on the daily commute compared to the Triumph Street Triple R?
15 January 2025 09:27
For me, the Street Triple R wins by a narrow margin for its reliability. Triumph's track record for reliability is hard to beat, but Aprilia's are great.

15 January 2025 09:27
Honestly, I barely notice it when I’m riding normally, but it’s there. It’s not as hard as it seems. Once you get used to the bike, you just work around it.
What is the Aprilia Tuono 660 like to tour on?
15 January 2025 09:27
I’ve done a 1000 mile weekend on my Tuono 660. It's surprisingly capable with a tail bag and tank bag. It's a lot easier when you have an upright position.

15 January 2025 09:27
Absolutely! I'm 6'2" and was on a Tuono 660 when I started. For taller riders, the upright position is great and the power is manageable if you know what you’re doing.
How do the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory’s electronics stack up against other high end naked bikes?
15 January 2025 09:22
ABS on the Tuono in the corners is a game changer. It just gives you so much confidence in corners. I’ve ridden bikes with it, I’ve ridden bikes without it, and the difference is night and day.

15 January 2025 09:22
That depends on your definition of 'long distance.' It's perfect for spirited day trips. If you’re going on a multi day tour you might want something a little more focused on comfort.
