How do the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory’s electronics stack up against other high end naked bikes?

A high tech electronics package comes standard on the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory, with cornering ABS, multi level traction control, wheelie control and several riding modes. Often compared to systems on other premium naked bikes from manufacturers like Ducati, BMW and KTM, this suite of electronic aids is called APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control). These systems are debated by riders on how intuitive they are, how effective and how customizable. There are some who believe that the Aprilia package is one of the best around, others who prefer the way the others do it. Often the discussion involves how these electronics impact the riding experience, how easy they are to use, and whether they add to or take away from the raw feel so many riders want in a naked bike.

ABS on the Tuono in the corners is a game changer. It just gives you so much confidence in corners. I’ve ridden bikes with it, I’ve ridden bikes without it, and the difference is night and day.

I love how customizable the Aprilia’s electronics are. It's really easy to fine tune the bike to your riding style, more so than on a lot of other bikes that I've ridden.

The Tuono wheelie control is phenomenal. It is fun without being overboard. Other bikes I’ve tried are either too intrusive, or not effective enough.

I think the Aprilia’s electronics feel a bit dated in terms of user interface compared to something like a KTM Super Duke. The menu system needs an update, it works great, but...

The Tuono’s electronics are there when you need them, but don’t get in the way when you don’t. They find a nice balance between safety and letting you actually feel the bike.

The Aprilia's electronics are a little overwhelming to me. It’s so distracting because there are so many options and settings. Other brands have a more intuitive interface.

Aprilia's electronics are top notch. The APRC system is very complex and has a lot of user customization. It's definitely on par in terms of, if not better than, most competitors.
