How mod friendly is the Aprilia RS 150 compared to its rivals?

by Sukhmandeep Kaurover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
As a motorcycle enthusiast, we all do like to customize our bikes and the Aprilia RS 150 is no different. It starts with the question of bike modifications and aftermarket upgrades. Riders share the availability of performance parts, cosmetic enhancements and ergonomic modifications for the RS 150. In addition to this, there is a lot of debate on how easy it is to modify them, what effect it has on the warranty, and how much better they perform or look in comparison to other popular 150cc sports bikes. There are those who argue that keeping the bike stock is good for the bike's value, and others who say that personalization is what makes the most of the Aprilia experience.

Simple mods like levers and grips are good. Any more complex and you are flirting with reliability problems, which are already something to worry about with Aprilia.

I love modding my RS 150! It's like a blank canvas. Yeah, parts can be expensive, but you get what you pay for, and it’s unique.

It's a mixed bag. Sometimes the mods are easy, but other times you need a special tool or expertise. Not as straightforward as modding a KTM or Yamaha, for sure.

I don't see the point in extensive mods because stock bike is already so good. It was maybe some minor tweaks for comfort, but that's it.

I've thrown on a few cosmetic mods such as LED turn signals and a tail tidy. Performance mods are limited because of warranty concerns, but it looks great.

Honestly, it's a pain to mod. Japanese bikes have parts that are expensive and hard to find. You should keep it stock.

It's pretty mod-friendly! A lot of aftermarket exhaust options that really make this bike sing. On the ECU tuning, just be careful.
