Is the extra money for the Aprilia RS4 125 worth it over its competitors?

by @sukhmandeepover 1 year ago0 views8 answers
Aprilia RS4 125 usually costs more than any other 125cc sports bike out there. The high premium fee paid does give rise to consideration of value for money, particularly to young riders and those being contended to tight budget. Supporters, however, say you’re paying for Italian engineering, superior handling and a more exclusive brand. However, critics say the extra cost doesn't justify the performance difference, let alone the potential maintenance expenses. The debate doesn’t just end with the initial purchase price but also includes resale value, running costs and how you will feel on the whole owning experience. We'll go through the pros and cons to decide if the RS4 125's premium is worth it or if riders are better off saving some cash and opting for some other, less expensive ride.

The superior suspension and brakes warrant the higher premium price. It’s not just an engine performance thing.

If you plan to keep it long term I'd say it's worth it. They age well, and hold their value better than some others.

It's overpriced as a learning platform. You'd be better off with something cheaper, that you wouldn't be afraid to drop.

The premium isn't just the bike honestly. That's the whole Aprilia experience: the community, the racing heritage. That’s what you’re buying into.

For just the looks, I think it’s worth it. Every time I park it there are people that stop to admire it. That feeling can't be put a price on.

It depends on what you value. But, if you’re looking for something different, something that stands out, then yes. If you’re simply after reliable transport, probably not.

No way. You're paying for the name. It's not that different performance wise from bikes that cost way less.

Absolutely worth it. Compared to cheap bikes, the build and attention to detail is on a totally different level.
