Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake

About
The Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake is a 125cc commuter motorcycle designed to cater to the needs of Indian riders. It features a smooth and refined engine, although it is somewhat underpowered with only 8 PS of power. The bike is praised for its comfortable riding experience, thanks to its well-designed seat and excellent balance, which makes it stable even on rainy days. The disc brake variant enhances safety with better braking performance. The Saluto also boasts good road grip courtesy of its Ceat tubeless tyres and has an adjustable rear shock absorber for added comfort. While it lacks a front disc brake in some variants and has a small fuel tank, the overall package is well-suited for daily commuters and small families, offering a blend of style, performance, and great mileage.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable and economical commuter motorcycle in India. While it may not be the fastest bike on the market, its acceleration, although a bit sluggish, is sufficient for urban commuting. The bike excels in comfort, with a well-designed seat and superb balance, making it ideal for daily commutes and small family use. The disc brake variant offers better braking performance, which is a significant advantage over the drum brake version. However, users have noted that the bike starts to vibrate beyond 65 kmh, which could be a concern for those who frequently ride at higher speeds. Overall, its a great option for those prioritizing comfort, mileage, and value for money.

The Yamaha Saluto Disc Brake is priced competitively in the Indian market. Bought the vehicle 13 months back, low milage about 35-40 kmpl, bad customer care response, bad experience at the service center as no skilled mechanics present and even spares are not available. Took atleast 3-15 days to get service done of new vehicle.

Best Features: Vehicle look is decent and light weight. Good for city ride.

Pros: Light Weight, Smooth Ride upto 75 km

Cons: Very less space for tool kit, Even for vehicle documents
