Yamaha has discontinued the Saluto RX 110 due to low demand, marking the end of its production run in the Indian market. This decision reflects the bikes struggles to compete with other models in the 110cc commuter segment. I think this move is a strategic one, allowing Yamaha to focus on more popular and profitable models.

In 2019, Yamaha introduced new color options for the Saluto RX 110, including a Matt Green shade, in an effort to revamp the bikes appeal. This update also included new graphics to enhance the bikes visual appeal. I believe these cosmetic updates were a good attempt to keep the bike relevant, but ultimately didnt change its market fortunes.
The Yamaha Saluto RX 110 was launched in late April 2016, priced at Rs. 46,400 in Delhi. This 110cc street model featured Yamahas BLUE CORE engine, which improved fuel economy by about 13% compared to previous models. I think the emphasis on fuel efficiency and lightweight design was a smart move, but the bike still faced stiff competition.
At its launch, the Saluto RX 110 was touted for its superior cost-performance and sporty exterior, targeting the largest demand category in the Indian motorcycle market. The bike boasted a curb weight of just 98 kg, making it the lightest in its class. I believe the focus on weight reduction and fuel efficiency was a key selling point, but it didnt quite capture the market as expected.

- Yamaha Saluto RX is a lightweight commuter that carries the famous RX moniker in its name. The bike comes with a 110cc, single cylinder engine producing 7.39 BHP at 7000 rpm and 8.50 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The motorcycle comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 90 kmph. It weighs just 98 kg, even after filling the same with 7.2 liters of fuel. It rivals Hero Splendor, Honda Dream series and TVS Star in its segment.

I bought this bike 3 months back, About mileage i am getting arount 65 KM in city. thats what i expected while purchase this bike. I am very much satisfied with Yamaha brand.
My saluto rx bike ride quality is fine,but suspension is not good.So if its possible change the twin shock absorber to five stable shock hydraulic absorber for better suspension
if you get some problems in this bike, There is no spare parts availability even in the workshop of Yamaha Bike. you can get trouble and no one is ready to help you.
