Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

Are the Honda CBR300R and Yamaha R3/R25 really going to be released in india?
18 April 2025 03:00The Honda CBR300R is confirmed to be launched in India in 2025, as announced in recent updates, which will mark its entry into the Indian market to compete in the premium sports bike segment. As for the Yamaha R3 and R25, the 2025 Yamaha R3 is expected to be launched in India later this year. The R3 has been updated with new styling, colour options, and features such as all-LED lighting and a multi-function LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. However, the Yamaha R25 is unlikely to be introduced in the Indian market, as Yamaha already sells the R3 in India and the R25 does not fit into their current market strategy. The 2025 Yamaha R3, priced approximately at ? 3.80 lakh in Japan, will likely retain its 321cc parallel-twin engine producing 41.4 bhp and 29.5 Nm of torque, and will compete with bikes like the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400 in the Indian market.

05 January 2023 02:07When it comes to deciding between the Yamaha R3 and the Aprilia RS 660, it really comes down to personal preference. The Aprilia RS 660 has a higher top speed and better engine performance, but the Yamaha R3 has better fuel efficiency and a lower price point. What is the down payment for Yamaha R3? What are the installments?
02 January 2023 06:40The minimum downpayment you can expect to pay is 10% of the bike's ex-showroom price. However, banks have very strict criteria so getting a loan upto 90% of the bike's value could be little tough. You could instead pay 15% of bike's ex-showroom price which in this case is, 15% of 3,26,000 (ex-showroom delhi, Rs 48,900. You could take a loan for the remaining amount, 2,77,100 for three years. At an interest rate of 14%, you'll have to pay an EMI of INR 9,471.

Is the launch of Yamaha R3 ABS & Red colour related with the launch of MT-03 in India?
02 January 2023 06:35Yamaha MT-03's launch in India has not yet been scheduled by the company and it is possible that R3 may get ABS when the MT-03 gets launched in the country. The parts on both the motorcycles are common and Yamaha may increase the amount of localization, in order to keep the prices same and add ABS to the R3 in India. The Red shade can also be expected if the R3 gets the same Red shade for its naked body structure. The sales number of R3 is another factor on which the Red shade's launch indirectly depends. Both the bikes use a 321cc, 2-cylinder motor producing 41.4 BHP and 29.6 NM of torque.

When the Yamaha R3 will be launched in Red colour and with ABS version in India ?
02 January 2023 06:35The ABS version would be launched in the current year and bringing Red into the country cannot be confirmed yet. The bike looks excellent in the Red shade whereas Yamaha currently sells the Blue and Black shade in the country. Yamaha is popular for its GP Blue shade and most of the R3's sold are of the same shade. Yamaha may increase the localization and start selling the ABS, Red colored R3 in the country. The twin cylinder 321 cc engine on the same produces 41.4 BHP and 29.6 NM of torque.

Does Yamaha R3 has got massive sound like YZF-R1?
02 January 2023 06:35Yamaha R3 comes with a light sound when compared to the roar of the R1. The sound difference comes with the number of cylinders being used in a bike. The Yamaha R1 is a 4-cylinder machine with specially composed exhaust note for different range of rpm's whereas the R3 comes with a twin cylinder arrangement and quiet natural exhaust sound. R3 comes with a 321cc engine producing 41.4 BHP @ 10,750 rpm and 29.6 NM @ 9,000 rpm. The gearbox is a constant mesh, 6-speed manual unit. R3 comes with a price tag of INR 3,25,000.

Why didn’t Yamaha launch the Red & White Yamaha R3 in India?
02 January 2023 06:30Yamaha has launched the much awaited R3 in Racing Blue and Lightning Black shade only. The reason for the same would be the lower probability of sale of the Red shade in India. Yamaha sells most of its bikes in its signature Blue shade and limited edition models are mostly showcased in other shades. It also raises the probability of launch of the Red and White shade in a limited edition model, depending upon the sales of the current shades of the bike. Yamaha powers the R3 with a twin cylinder 321 cc engine and every unit of the same is imported via CKD route. In that, the company sends completely knocked down units of bikes, which are assembled locally. Yamaha R3 has been price at INR 3,25,000 for the current shades.

Which one is better - Yamaha R25 or Yamaha R3?
02 January 2023 06:17When we neglect the price tag, Yamaha R3 becomes the better option with its 41.4 BHP power output and a 29.6 NM torque engine. The R3 delivers more performance and would be a more loved machine as it just has 3 more kgs than the R25 and the performance increase is really significant. The only thing which confuses the battle is the difference of INR 75,000 between the expected prices of the bikes.

Which Color of R3 Is better Blue or Black?
very very hot and stylish bike in2016
The styling resembles much of the CBR, seems to be little lengthier, as its competitors are givng projector head lamps,ABS , its quite disappointing from yahama that it lacks this commonly seen features for this price range.....
OMG too much confusion between RC390(a), R3(b),ninja300(c).
1.better to buy RC390 for its pricing and power.
2.go for the NInja 300 for its looks and comfort.
the R3 for your own shauk.because for some people it aint even a bike for show off because its Yamaha.(from my point of view)
4.if you have more cash in your pocket and want a bike to showoff just go and buy the aprilla rs4 125, 3lakh price.looks exactly same as the aprilla rsv4.
After watching about r3 vs rc390 on YouTube from MCN,and other famous magazine testriders rc will stay ahead of r3 till 1st gear I.e. 55km/h as soon as you shift into next ratio on rc the r3 first gear will be still pulling to 68km/h as its high revving 14k RPM as compared to single 10.5k rpm rc will be faster only till 0-60km/h and I've tested both bikes myself rc is hell faster quick revving BT. The problem is it got fast revving midrange BT. Not top end rc needs 2nd gear when I hitted 55km/h (rpm shift light glows) BT when I rode r3 at adchini dealership r3 was readlining at 14k. Rpm at 68km/h.Although rc was very quickly as compared to r3. BT when I touched 55-78 km/h 2nd gear and from 78-99at 3rd gear (rpm shift light on) I put the best time of 6.3secs on rc alone 0-100. At ktm lajpat nagar dealership. In 5 attempts bt r3 was at 100 in 2nd gear. Now from here I can say that although rc is fast revving motor it lacks quick shifter hence rapid gear shifts will take time to shift from 2nd to 3rd gear minimum 2sec wastage bt. In case of r3 only 1 sec is wasted during shifting as r3 reached 100 km/h in 2nd gear and I was at 100 in clear 5.95 secs stopwatch measured by friend in 5 attempts. So from here I can say that both r neck to neck in performance only a better, experienced rider can win bt. In most case rc will win 0-60 & r3 will win from 60-197kmph as rc is 179 top by motorbeam. Also r3 will have thumping, roaring & bassy sound effect. Bt rc sound is cracking and thin sometimes felt like chetak.any ways what more is r3 is extremely good lookin and more larger as compared to thin rc which does'nt even look like r3 got everything more than rc bt it is 1.25 lack more than KTM which offers USD forks,Abs,metzelers tyres, etc. Bt still if u r getting r1 DNA, looks, style, extra cylinder, less overheating, large body size which I love, vibration free experience, high topend rush, throaty exhaust sound, mrfs, larger fuel tank,Yamaha build quality, paint job, reliability etc. and want the fastest A2 licence bike for just 1.2lack then r3 is best. Also it's not Yamaha fault to tag this price as in international markets r3 costs only 1.9lac INR IT IS DUE THESE BULLSHIT CBU AND CKD WHICH TAXES 110% DUTY FOR THESE IMPORTED JAPANESE AND EUROPEAN BEAUTIES JUST TO PROTECT OUR INDIAN ECONOMY AND MARKET LIKE BAJAJ AND HERO ALSO HAYABUSA WHICH COSTS 18LAC (CBU) HERE IS ONLY 8.5 LACK INR IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS SO WE MUST FORM GROUPS AND COMMUNITIES REGARDING ABOLITION OR MINIMIZATION OF THESE DUTIES PLZZ. HELP BCOZ THESE BIKES ARE LIGHT YEAR AHEAD.WE SHOULD CONFESS PM THAT INDIAN MARKET WILL NOT GET RUINED SO HE ABOLISH THESE TAXES .Thank any correction and comment will be apriciated.

For all Assole's out there first Learn to respect each and every bike..your nt there to sit and criticize the bikes, so shut your gob and keep it with your self...
Still KTM 390 is winner
Hello.I want to know that r3 international version will be available or not in india?
launching on 11th august 2015
rc390 could be faster in 0-100 kmph, but would never buy that piece of crap, its a no-brainer. With that little fuel tank, with that seat, with that vibrations, with that sound.... its impractical, im not gonna ride at 170 always.... it's one looser's showoff bike...
dude itni jyada speed se Kaha bhagaega gadi Ko... 200 ns Ko b bhagate lal. ho jati he q k bike out of control ho jati h... qk Usme 24 bhp. h...or gadi bhagane k lie starting me horse power chaiye... Kitne top speed tak jaegi wo to bad ki bat h... r3 -4 laks ki or rc 390 -2.30 ki bohot deference h price me ...rc 390 _ 44. bhp marti h or r3. _41.bhp, rc ka torque bohot jyada h...it means gadi weight aasani se khichegi.... or rai bat speed ki to rc390. 200 klmp b touch kardeti he or utni lambi coutinue race k liye road Kaha he.. so better is that go for rc 390''' ha agar extra Pese pade h to multiple cylinder taknology wali r3 lelo....
in ma view rc 390 is best in aspects of styling seating posture n main thing its price
Dear please mention complete details because half truth is more dangerous than falsehood. You've mentioned 2 cylinders & 4 valves, but per how many cylinders??? It's probably 4 valves per cylinder as per my knowledge. And request you to swap the front & rear tyre specifications. It's mentioned 140 for front & 110 for rear. Even R1 doesn't have 140 front tyre.
And I feel people commenting that it has 3 cylinders would be due to the incorrect count of cylinders mentioned by you'll earlier.
Kindly make the corrections.
i bought the ktm rc390 2 weeks ago, honestly speaking i don't think yzf r3 is any competition to it and also rc390 is just 2.35lkh
Price will be definitely above 5 lakhs just for the 3 cylinders
3 cylinder omg new in India i would love to have it..
