Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Apache RTR 310 is a compelling addition to the Indian motorcycle market, particularly for those who appreciate a balance of style, performance, and features. While it shares its engine with the Apache RR 310, the tweaks to the air intake, compression ratio, and exhaust have enhanced its power and torque output. However, the engines refinement remains a concern, with noticeable vibrations between 5,000 to 7,000 rpm, which can be bothersome during highway cruising. The bike excels in handling, with a fabulous chassis and suspension that make it a joy to ride on both city roads and twisties. The feature list is impressive, including a 5-inch TFT display, ride modes, traction control, and even a heated and cooled seat in higher variants. Despite some flaws, the Apache RTR 310 is a fun and capable motorcycle that is well-suited for both daily commuting and occasional spirited rides.
Price
The TVS Apache RTR 310 is priced at Rs 2.43 lakh ex-showroom, making it a competitive offering in the 300-400cc segment. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around Rs 2.8 lakh to Rs 3 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. Given its feature-rich profile and performance capabilities, the Apache RTR 310 offers good value for money, especially when compared to its sport bike sibling, the Apache RR 310, which is priced higher. The Built To Order (BTO) program also allows for customization, which can add to the overall cost but provides a personalized riding experience.
