Our take on this /// Verdict
The Royal Enfield Bullet Electra, particularly the older model, is a motorcycle that embodies a rich history and a unique charm that is hard to ignore. While it may not be the most modern or technologically advanced bike, it offers a riding experience that is both nostalgic and satisfying. The introduction of the twinspark engine has significantly improved reliability and performance, making it more agile and powerful compared to its predecessors. However, it still retains some of the classic quirks, such as the tendency to overheat in city traffic and the occasional difficulty in finding neutral gear. Despite these minor issues, the Electras old-school design, improved build quality, and enhanced engine make it a compelling choice for those who value tradition and character in their motorcycle.
Price
When the Royal Enfield Bullet Electra was actively sold in India, its ex-showroom price typically ranged between 80,000 to 1,20,000, depending on the region and any customizations or accessories. On-road prices would be higher, often ranging from 1,00,000 to 1,50,000, including registration, insurance, and other local taxes. While these prices are historical, they give an idea of the affordability and value-for-money aspect of the Electra. For those considering purchasing a used model, prices can vary widely based on the bikes condition, mileage, and any modifications made.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 04:57 AM
The mileage of the Royal Enfield Bullet Electra is a crucial factor for many Indian buyers. While exact figures can vary, owners generally report an average mileage of around 30-40 kml in city riding conditions and up to 45 kml on highways. This is respectable given the bikes classic design and engine characteristics. However, its important to note that mileage can be influenced by riding style, maintenance, and road conditions. For those concerned about running costs, the Electra offers a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
