USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Jawa 350, specifically the Double Disc variant, is a significant improvement over its predecessors, and it stands out as a strong contender in the 350cc segment. The new 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivers a robust mid-range performance, making it enjoyable to ride, especially in city conditions. The bikes handling is agile and composed, thanks to the revised chassis, extended swingarm, and well-tuned suspension. However, there are some niggles, such as the vague rear brake feel and the lack of modern features like a more legible instrument cluster. Despite these, the Jawa 350s retro design, strong front brake bite, and overall quality make it a compelling choice for those who appreciate a modern-classic roadster. Its a motorcycle that turns heads and offers a unique riding experience, but it may not be the best option for long-distance touring due to its vibration issues at higher speeds and the less comfortable seat.
Price
The Jawa 350 Double Disc variant is priced at around Rs. 2.15 lakh ex-showroom in India. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to approximately Rs. 2.50 lakh to Rs. 2.70 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. While this is slightly higher than the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Jawa 350 offers a unique blend of retro aesthetics and modern performance. For those who value the nostalgic appeal and the improvements made by Classic Legends, the price might be justified. However, for budget-conscious buyers, the premium over its competitors could be a deterrent.
Jawa Classic Double Disc on road price is Rs 2.16 lakh in Delhi, Rs 2.23 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 2.18 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 2.21 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Jawa dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.
Latest Updates
Sunday, 08 September 2024 12:52 PM The Jawa 42 FJ, the latest addition to the Jawa 42 series, has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 1.99 lakh. This new model is powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine producing 28.7bhp and 29.62Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike features LED lights, a USB charging port, and a single-pod digital instrument cluster. I think this update makes the Jawa 42 FJ a compelling option for those looking for a blend of classic design and modern performance.
Thursday, 05 September 2024 04:38 PM Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has unveiled the Jawa 42 FJ, which boasts a bold, modern design while honoring Jawas heritage. The bike includes anodized brushed aluminium fuel tank cladding, aluminium headlamp holders, and a wide flat seat with premium stitching. It also features an all-LED lighting package and a fully digital instrument cluster. I believe the attention to detail in the design makes this bike stand out in the neo-classic segment.
Tuesday, 03 September 2024 01:32 AM The new Jawa 42 FJ is built on a double cradle frame with a 1440 mm wheelbase and 178 mm ground clearance, making it suitable for both city and off-city rides. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS, disc brakes at both the front and rear, and a 31.1-inch seat height. The engine is a 334cc, liquid-cooled unit derived from the Jawa 350 but tuned differently. I think the combination of modern engineering and classic design will appeal to a wide range of riders.
Monday, 02 September 2024 04:37 AM Classic Legends has announced that the new Jawa 42 FJ will feature diamond-cut alloy wheels, similar to those on the Jawa 42 Bobber. The bikes graphics are youthful, with a prominent Jawa logo on the fuel tank, drawing inspiration from the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. The new model is expected to have larger dimensions and possibly changes to the chassis. I believe these updates will enhance the bikes appeal and performance.
Mileage
Monday, 18 November 2024 02:35 PM The mileage of the Jawa 350 is a crucial aspect for potential buyers, especially in India where fuel efficiency is a key consideration. While the exact mileage figures are not explicitly stated, the bikes engine and tuning suggest it should offer reasonable fuel efficiency. The 334cc engine, though more powerful, is designed to provide a balance between performance and economy. In real-world conditions, you can expect the Jawa 350 to deliver around 30-35 kmpl in city riding and up to 40 kmpl on the highways, assuming moderate riding conditions. However, this can vary based on factors such as riding style, road conditions, and maintenance of the vehicle. I think bike should install a digital meter as well. It would be helpful. Seat should be better as my Royal Enfield provides better seat than my Jawa Classic.

Best Features: Look of Bike

Pros: Look of bike is good, performance is also top notch with a great mileage.

Cons: Seats should be more comfortable. Service station is almost 40kms away from my place.
