Honda CBR250R (New) Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
The CBR combo (150 & 250) have collectively evolved into a new and trendy motorcycle, with the signature twin headlight sporty front. The powerful and quick CBR250R has got some new curves and a superb looking new design. The beast has gone into a new generation, being stronger and efficient than before.
Design & Style
The design of the new CBR250R has definitely gone under a lot of consideration since its launch, but this time it has fulfilled the dream of every Honda lover. The new CBR is not just new by name, it has undergone of lot of change, especially its looks and aggression. The front has changed into a twin headlight structure, with a new exhaust, which this time seems to be massive. The side fairing has a new design and an equally new attitude.
Engine & Performance
The 249.6 cc unit on the 2016 CBR250R produces 28.6 BHP @ 9000 rpm and 23 NM @ 7500 rpm. This means a jump of power by 2.6 BHP in the newer version, which would lead to a new emerging winner by the end. The pattern was not understood as its younger cousin had an opposite result of its updatability. The engine gets a 6-speed gearbox and is liquid cooled.
Brakes & Suspension
The new CBR gets the same braking units as before, having a 296 mm disc at the front with a 220 mm disc at the back. The suspension also remains the same with telescopic forks at the front and a pro-link suspension at the rear. The tyre size for the front remains at 110/70-R17 whereas the rear comes with a 140/70-R17. With a total weight of 164 kg, the fuel tank measures 13 litres in total.
Shades & Price
The CBR250R is expected in Sports Red and Black shade, with the availability of Tri-color also. The expected price for the new machine is INR 1,60,000.
