Honda CB150R Streetster Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Honda CB150R Streetster is one of India's most anticipated 150cc-segment motorcycles. Honda has yet to make an official announcement about its launch in Indian markets.
Honda CB150R features the same neo-retro styling as its larger siblings. If it becomes available in India, it may come in three stunning colour options. It has a round-shaped LED headlight that adds to its classic appeal.
In all three paint schemes, this streetfighter has gold-coloured inverted front forks. It has a large fuel tank and plastic cladding near the radiator with the CB insignia. Its sleek tail section and underbelly exhaust complement its design.
A 149cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine powers the CB150R. It is a liquid-cooled engine with a fuel-injection system. This DOHC engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and produces 16.1 HP at 9500 rpm and 13.6 Nm at 8000 rpm. Honda CB150R has a top speed of around 120 km/h and a mileage output of approximately 45 km/l.
It is structured with an inner pivot type diamond frame and a dual-sided aluminium swing arm. It has 41mm inverted forks up front and a hydraulic mono-shock absorber in the back.
It has a 296mm disc brake on the front and a 220mm disc brake on the rear. The brake callipers are finished in red, giving the bike a sporty look. It has a dual-channel ABS system, which is one of the most important safety features. Honda CB150R has 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, which make it look very sporty. It has a front tubeless tyre of 110/70 and a rear tubeless tyre of 150/60.
This neo-retro streetfighter has LED headlights, taillights, and turn indicators. Honda CB150R is outfitted with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster. A speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip metre, and fuel gauge are all part of the digital console. It also has an engine temperature display and a gear position indicator. The CB150R's instrument cluster also includes a gear shift light, an ABS light, and a service warning light. It has backlit switch gears, an engine kill switch, a step-up seat, and an integrated pillion grab rail.
This neo-retro cafe racer is one of India's most anticipated bikes. Honda has released this entry-level streetfighter in a few Asian countries. It was supposed to debut in India last year, but Honda2wheeler India opted out. Honda has not yet announced a release date for the CB150R in India. Given the growing popularity of 150cc bikes in India, we hope Honda will release it in the country soon.
Honda CB150R is expected to cost around Rs 1.50 lakh in India (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). Honda may reclaim its lost share of the entry-level premium segment bikes in India with this bike. On release, it will compete against the Duke 125, Suzuki Gixxer, and Yamaha MT-15.

Powerful motorcycle with a great look
The Honda CB150R Streetfire is a powerful motorcycle with a great look. It offers a powerful 150cc engine and a 5-speed transmission. However, it does not come with an engine kill switch, making it a less desirable option for safety-minded riders. The Apache RTR 4V Special Edition offers a similar engine and 5-speed transmission but does come with an engine kill switch, making it a better choice for those who are looking for a safe ride. It is also more affordable than the Honda CB150R Streetfire, making it an even better option for those on a budget.
