Honda CB150R ExMotion Review
Overview
Honda CB150R ExMotion was launched in 2018 in Thailand. The motorcycle follows a new design language that Honda shares with CB1000R and CB300R internationally. First of all, they focused on new headlight design that could defy the rules of changing design languages and nothing could get better than a round headlight with a divided section for low and high beam LEDs.
Right above the light, one gets an all-digital console that is loaded with segment first features like real-time mileage indicator and reserve fuel warning light. Apart from that, they offer a clock, trip meters, gear indicator and other important indications. Honda offers USD forks, underbelly exhaust, ABS equipped brakes and aggressive fuel tank design for user satisfaction in terms of safety and control. The compact design helps Honda achieve a wet weight of just 123kg.
This is clearly seen from CB150R’s design that offers maximum utility parts and minimum visual enhancements. Also, the rear half of this motorcycle looks very light in comparison to other 150cc bikes of the segment. Seat height of 795 mm guarantees stress-free riding for averagely built riders. The ground clearance is also decent at 139 mm. Honda CB150R ExMotion is not an India specific product presently but one can expect them to bring the bigger CB1000R is coming months.
Honda recently launched X Blade in India and thus, it is less than usual for them to bring another 150cc product around this year. Also, CB150R is a premium product and pricing it under INR 1.2 lakh would not be possible for them. It comes with ABS as standard and thus, they could even bring a Non-ABS version for around INR 1.05 lakh. Power values of this 150cc liquid cooled and fuel injected are yet to be disclosed.
