Wednesday, 31 July 2024 02:27 PM Ducati has integrated advanced electronic technologies into the new Panigale V4, drawing heavily from their MotoGP experience. The bike includes a V4 engine with desmodromic distribution and a counter-rotating shaft, along with chassis and electronics similar to those of the Desmosedici GPs. These innovations are designed to give riders the confidence and performance of a professional rider on a closed track. I think this level of technology will set a new standard for road supersport bikes.
Wednesday, 31 July 2024 10:16 PM The new Panigale V4 has undergone a complete redesign focusing on technological improvements and ergonomic enhancements. The bike benefits from advancements in tires, aerodynamics, and electronics, making it faster and more intuitive for riders of all levels. The bike also features a more powerful engine and weighs just 187 kg, 2 kg less than the previous model. This redesign aims to make the bike faster on the track and more comfortable for riders. The bike will be offered in a single-seater configuration, with a passenger kit available as an accessory. This release is part of Ducatis continuous effort to bring racing technology to production bikes, enhancing the riding experience for enthusiasts. I think the anticipation for this bike will be high among Ducati fans and track enthusiasts.
Thursday, 25 July 2024 06:33 AM The 2025 Panigale V4 features an integrated aerodynamic design, with improvements such as more compact and thinner double-profile design wings that maintain vertical load while enhancing cooling through redesigned extraction sockets. These changes are aimed at improving performance, especially during track days. I believe these aerodynamic updates will significantly impact the bikes overall performance and handling.

Ducati Panigale V4 Review

16 Oct, 2024 12:00 AM

Overview

The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 though, seriously man, where do I start? This machine is not just a bike. You know the bikes that turn heads? It's true, the Panigale V4 can stop traffic (literally, figurative speaking). I’ve got one up close and personal and guys, this thing is beautiful. Imagine you’re walking into an art gallery and see that one single piece that you stop to observe. You just know it’s special. You can’t quite put it into words, but I am going to try.

Price in India

Okay, moving on to what is probably what you’re thinking of—price. And this is where you begin to question whether you can afford to spend so much on a bike. At ?RM202,000 (circa ???26.30 lakhs) in India, the 2024 Panigale V4 is a definitely premium. This isn’t some ordinary Sunday ride machine. If performance and the desire to own a bike that’s as close as you can get to a MotoGP without breaking the law then oh yeah, the price starts to make sense. This is not just an item to buy, it’s an experience. And let’s be honest, when you come up on this to ride a bike, you’re rolling in hot.

Engine & Performance

This beast has a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine … and now, we have the heart of this beast. Dynamic Ducati packs in about 214 hp, which, by the way, feels like you are strapping a rocket to yourself. It accelerates like nothing else I’ve been on. Instead of a slingshot, it’s like being shot out of the slingshot — except you’re in control (mostly). There is no torque lag, or at least it’s virtually imperceptible, and the power delivery is so smooth you could almost forget you were breaking into warp drive until you find you are white knuckling the handlebars and nearly beyond your means.

But it’s the connected feeling to the bike that really blows me away about the Panigale V4. The bike kind of knows what you’re thinking. It just follows—that effortlessly—and you lean into a corner. It doesn’t even need to be wrestled with like some superbikes. Kind of like a scalpel in the hand of a skilled surgeon, it’s razor sharp and precise. Make no mistake though, this isn't a casual Sunday morning cruiser, though. It deserves your attention.

Top Speed

Now, let’s talk numbers. While the 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 will be top speed somewhere around 299 km/h. That’s borderline insane, yes. Do you need to go that fast? Probably not. But will you want to? Absolutely. It’s one of those rare things that just make you feel alive, like the rush you get when you’re on a roller coaster. Sure, except here you choose the speed and believe me, that takes this whole other level of excitement.

The (insert your favorite mind-numbing number here) Mileage (Yep, Let’s Go There)

If you’re asking mileage on a bike like this, I can see your point. We all want to know what we are going to be doing. Of course, nobody’s buying a Panigale V4 for emotional efficiency. Give or take a bit, it’s about 12 to 14 km/l depending on how heavy your right hand is. Fuel economy isn’t why you’re here but once again. There’s the thrill, the adrenaline, the absolute, unadulterated joy of knowing that you’re riding something that very few people will ever get to ride.

The Verdict

In other words, should I recommend the 2024 Ducati Panigale V4? Well, it depends. That being said, this probably isn’t for you if you’re the type looking for a practical bike you can bicycle to work or run errands with. This bike is for the purist. The sort who are in for the thrill, speed, the connection between rider and machine. If it’s respect that it wants, it’ll get it, and if you ride with respect, you’ll experience a bike like no other.

This isn’t just another superbike. It’s a power symphony, a precision symphony and, indeed, a symphony of pure Italian craftsmanship. Here is your chance to feel like you are riding a piece of art if you’ve ever fancied the idea. First question is, but are you ready to tame this beast? If you are, then believe me, it’s one hell of a ride.

  • Does it offer dual-channel ABS?

    17 April 2025 15:30

  • Is Ducati Panigale V4 is 2 seater ?

    17 April 2025 15:30

The Ducati Panigale V4 is not a 2-seater bike; it has a single seat configuration, making it a solo rider vehicle.

  • What is the regular service cost of Ducati Panigale V4 and how often you change tyres?

    17 April 2025 15:30

The regular service cost for a Ducati Panigale V4 can vary depending on the service interval and the specific tasks involved. For the annual service, which includes an oil change, cleaning and lubricating the chain, and a 30-point inspection, the cost is approximately $496 to $500. This service also involves updating the bike's software, checking for any error codes, and performing a test ride to ensure the bike is safe to ride. For more extensive services, such as the 15,000-mile desmo service, the cost can be significantly higher, potentially reaching £1000 or more for labor alone, plus additional costs for parts, which could total around £1400. As for tire changes, the frequency depends on usage. Typically, tires on a Ducati Panigale V4 need to be replaced every 8,000 to 12,000 miles, depending on riding conditions. For example, the Bridgestone S22 tires, which are commonly used on this model, can last around this range, and the new S23 tires are expected to offer slightly better mileage and performance[3).

  • Can it run on normal or extra premium petrol - Panigale V4?

    17 April 2025 15:30

The Ducati Panigale V4 is designed to run on high-octane fuel, with the minimum recommended octane rating specified as 90 /2. While it can technically run on normal petrol, using a higher octane fuel such as extra premium is highly recommended to optimize performance and prevent potential engine issues like detonation and carbon buildup. The engine's high compression ratio of 14.0:1 makes it more suitable for higher octane fuel to ensure optimal performance and engine longevity[5).

  • Is the V4 a daily to use bike?

    17 April 2025 15:30

The Ducati V4, whether in its Panigale or Streetfighter variants, can be used as a daily bike, but it comes with some caveats. The bike's powerful 1103 cc V4 engine, producing up to 212 HP and 90.6 lb-ft of torque, makes it highly capable but also demanding. One of the significant issues is the engine heat, particularly in traffic, which can be uncomfortable and even cause mild burns to the rider's thighs, even with protective gear and aftermarket exhausts. Despite this, the bike's ergonomics are designed to be relatively comfortable for daily use. The Streetfighter V4 S, for example, has an upright riding position with tall, flat handlebars and well-padded seats, making it surprisingly effortless to ride in city conditions. The electronically controlled suspension and various riding modes, including a reduced power mode for daily use, also enhance its usability. However, the bike's nature as a high-performance sportbike means it is best suited for riders who can appreciate its aggressive characteristics and are willing to manage its heat and power delivery. For those who primarily ride on highways or enjoy spirited weekend rides, the V4 can be an excellent choice, but for purely urban commuting, it might not be the most practical option due to its heat and power profile.

  • Which is better Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory or Ducati Panigale V4?

    06 September 2023 07:43

Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory is priced at Rs. 23,69,000, has a 1099 cc 6 Speed Manual engine, and weighs 202 kg, whereas, the price of Ducati Panigale V4 is Rs. 27,41,000 with a 1103 cc 6 Speed Manualengine, and weighing 198.5 kg.
