Ducati’s most powerful and prestigious bike this side of the full-carbon fibre Superleggera has just launched in India at Rs 69.9 lakh ex-showroom. The 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 R comes with a smaller 998cc V4 engine compared with the 1103cc motor from the ‘regular’ Panigale V4. This sub-1,000cc capacity allows the bike to comply with WSBK specifications.

Tuesday, 12 November 2024 08:56 PM The Ducati Panigale V4 R for the 2024 model year comes with significant upgrades, including a new exhaust system offer. For an additional Rs. 1,50,000, buyers can add a full titanium Akrapovic racing exhaust, which not only saves over Rs. 6,00,000 but also reduces the bikes weight by 5 kg and increases power. This offer is valid until December 31, 2024. I think this is a great deal for track enthusiasts looking to maximize their bikes performance.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 10:27 PM The 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 R features gun drilled titanium connecting rods, a first for a road bike, which improves pin lubrication and reliability under extreme conditions. The engine also includes lighter pistons and more aggressive intake cam profiles. With the optional racing exhaust and special Shell oil, the bike can reach 240.5 hp. I believe these technical advancements make the V4 R a standout in the supersport category.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 07:26 AM Despite being slightly less powerful out of the showroom due to Euro 5 emissions rules, the 2023 Panigale V4 R can still achieve 237 hp with the Akrapovic racing exhaust. This exhaust system, intended for track use only, also includes a remap for the engine management to maximize performance. I think the trade-off for emissions compliance is worth it given the overall performance enhancements.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 10:25 PM The Panigale V4 R 2023 model receives refreshed rider aids, including a new Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software and refined Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ride by Wire strategies. These updates improve stability, precision, and directionality during braking and cornering. I believe these electronic updates make the bike more intuitive and less fatiguing for riders of all levels.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 01:25 PM The 2023 Panigale V4 R is part of a numbered series, identified by a headstock plaque, although Ducati has not specified a limited production run. This model is expected to retain its value well, making it a solid investment for collectors and enthusiasts. I think the exclusivity and performance of this bike will make it a classic in the future.

Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.
