Our take on this /// Verdict
The Benelli TRK 800 is a formidable entry in the mid-weight adventure-tourer segment, and it certainly has the potential to make a strong impression in the Indian market. With its 754cc parallel-twin engine producing 76.13 PS of power and 67 Nm of torque, this bike offers a robust performance that is well-suited for both on-road touring and light off-road adventures. The bikes design, inspired by the TRK 502 range, features a semi-fairing, adjustable windscreen, and knuckle guards, which not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also provide practical benefits. The suspension, handled by Marzocchi-sourced 50mm upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock, ensures a comfortable ride even on rough terrains. While it may not compete directly with the likes of KTMs middleweight ADVs in terms of raw power, the TRK 800s balanced performance, feature-rich package, and comfortable ergonomics make it a compelling choice for those looking for a versatile adventure-tourer.
Price
The Benelli TRK 800 is expected to be priced at around 8.50 Lakh in India, which is competitive given its features and performance. The ex-showroom price of 8.50 Lakh places it in a sweet spot between other mid-weight adventure bikes like the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Triumph Tiger Sport 660. However, the on-road price can vary depending on state-specific taxation policies, so its essential to check the local dealership for the exact on-road price. Considering the bikes advanced engineering, premium hardware, and the brands reputation for quality, the price seems reasonably justified, especially for those who value a well-rounded adventure-touring experience.

Beautifully balanced bike, feels planted on the road. Gearbox is incredibly smooth, even better than some Japanese bikes! Clutch is buttery, and the throttle is light. Best ridden around 7,500rpm. Only gripe: those ridiculous crash bars sticking out wider than the handlebars.
