Our take on this /// Verdict
The Benelli TNT 25 is a mixed bag for potential buyers in India. On the positive side, it boasts impressive hardware, including USD forks and a liquid-cooled engine, which provides a punchy and efficient ride. The bikes handling, especially in corners, is commendable, and its smart looks are sure to turn heads. However, the negatives cannot be ignored. Many owners have reported significant reliability issues, such as overheating, coolant leaks, and premature wear on brake pads. These problems can be a major deterrent for those seeking a hassle-free riding experience. Overall, while the TNT 25 has the potential to be a great bike, its reliability concerns need to be addressed to make it a viable option.
Price
The Benelli TNT 25 was launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.68 lakh. When considering the on-road price, which includes additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, the figure can rise to around Rs. 2.0 lakh to Rs. 2.2 lakh, depending on the state and city. In my opinion, the pricing is competitive within its segment, but the value proposition is somewhat diminished by the reliability issues reported by several owners. For a bike that promises so much in terms of performance and features, the price seems reasonable, but potential buyers need to weigh this against the potential for higher maintenance costs.
