Does the Tata Safari actually have an ADAS system?
These bags open out into resilient, ergonomic systems that integrate contact, vibration, and support, accommodating a supportive and protective fit. This comprises adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking. The effectiveness and reliability of these systems can differ widely between manufacturers and models, however. Users who have used the Safari’s ADAS say that it works fine and feels like an added safety, while others have had false alarms and inconsistent performance. The main question of contention in the debate is whether Tata's application of ADAS technology is at par with the more established players in the market and also whether these features bring any true value or are just a marketing gimmick.
I've tried Safari's ADAS, which is good, but not great. On highways it's okay, but in city traffic it gets confused. Better than nothing, I guess.
