Discussions and Questions - Tata Tata - Page 4
Will the futuristic design of the Tata Avinya see production?
26 December 2024 12:23
The concept will be nowhere near the production version. The designs are always watered down to make them cheaper to produce. A generic crossover shape with some fancy lights is what you'll get.
Will the Tata Avinya’s range and charging abilities be comparable to Tesla?
26 December 2024 12:23
Tata will probably succeed in crafting the Avinya with decent range, but its true challenge will be to build out a credible fast charging network to rival Tesla’s Superchargers.
Can the Tata Avinya stand up to the established luxury EV brands?
26 December 2024 12:23
Brand perception is fickle. Think about how Hyundai and Kia have moved upmarket. With the right product and marketing, Tata could do the same.
What kind of software and UI will the Tata Avinya will have compared to tech focused EVs like Tesla?
26 December 2024 12:23
Things like a responsive touchscreen and seamless smartphone integration are what they have to nail. Later on, fancy features can come.
What does it say about you, socially or in terms of how people view you, if you own a Tata Harrier Dark Edition?
26 December 2024 12:08
It's actually actually because of the exclusivity of the Dark Edition that I've networked in ways I wouldn't have expected. Other Harrier owners I’ve met at service centers and parking lots have been great professional connections.
Should you spend the premium on the Tata Harrier Dark Edition over the standard version?
26 December 2024 12:08
It depends on what you value. If you like unique aesthetics and are willing to pay a little extra for exclusivity, you should. If you are practical, however, the standard version provides the same functionality for a lower price.
How do Tata Harrier Dark Edition’s rivals do long road trips?
26 December 2024 12:08
The Harrier is great on road trips, with one thing I love about it being the massive boot space. I don’t have to worry about space constraints because I can pack everything I need. That's a real advantage over smaller SUVs.
Does the Tata Harrier Dark Edition hold up to its safety claims in the real world?
26 December 2024 12:08
I've had a minor fender bender with my Harrier Dark Edition and came out impressed with how it held up. The safety features kicked in as they should, the build quality is solid. Felt definitely safer than my previous car.
Which SUVs in its class does the Tata Harrier Dark Edition have an infotainment system similar to?
26 December 2024 12:08
My Harrier Dark Edition’s infotainment system is decent but nothing mind blowing. While it's responsive enough for you to use it day in, day out, you will hit the odd stutter sometimes, particularly when used with Android Auto.
Is the higher ground clearance of the Tata Intra a better option for rural deliveries?
26 December 2024 11:51
Absolutely! The higher ground clearance is a life saver on rural roads. I've been through some pretty tough spots and not gotten so much as a scratch.
Does the Tata Intra V30's sudden acceleration problem make it a deal breaker?
26 December 2024 11:51
We shouldn't make a mountain out of a molehill. How many people have the virus? It could be user error, or it could be a one off thing. For months now, my cousin has been driving an Intra V30 without any problems.
Is the Tata Intra V70's payload capacity worth the extra money compared to competitors?
26 December 2024 11:51
It depends on what you need. If you're already running out of payload on the vehicle you have now, the V70 makes a lot of sense. Otherwise, it might be too much.
Is Tata Intra's infotainment system too much for a commercial vehicle?
26 December 2024 11:51
I think that’s a waste of money. Commercial vehicles should be all about function, not fancy gadgets. Instead of spending that money on better suspension or payload capacity, put it towards better suspension or payload capacity.
Let us see how the Tata Intra's turning radius compares to its rivals for city deliveries.
26 December 2024 11:51
Intra’s turning radius makes all the difference in city deliveries. With my old vehicle I used to be a nightmare getting into tight spots, but I can now get into them.
Is Tata Nexon Dark Edition worth paying the premium over the standard model?
26 December 2024 10:25
It's a mixed bag. It looks great but easily gets dirty and heats up more in summer. It’s not about aesthetics, it’s about practicality.
Is the Tata Safari a worthy purchase at the hefty price tag?
26 December 2024 10:01
If you are looking for a uniquely Indian SUV experience, I think it is worth it. There is character to the Safari that you just don’t get with other brands. On top of that, Tata have really upped their game in terms of features and design.
What is the Tata Safari’s build quality like relative to its competitors?
26 December 2024 10:01
As far as an owner, the build quality is good, not great. It’s not perfect, but there are some minor issues here and there, nothing that’s going to break the deal. I feel it’s on par with other Indian brands.
Is the Tata Safari a reliable long term car?
26 December 2024 10:01
I’d say Safari reliability is middle of the pack relative to what it’s up against. It wasn't the worst, but it wasn't the best. Over the years you will probably have a few issues but nothing catastrophic.
Does the Tata Safari actually have an ADAS system?
26 December 2024 10:01
I honestly think it’s more hype than substance. Lane keep assist is pretty aggressive, adaptive cruise control is hit or miss. Systems from more experienced brands are not as refined.
So how do you compare the off road capability of the Tata Safari to its name?
26 December 2024 10:01
I do believe people are too hung up on the past. The new Safari is designed for what most people actually use SUVs for: comfortable family transport with the occasional light off road use. It's changed, just as the market has.
