Discussions and Questions - Bajaj Bajaj - Page 25
How efficient is Bajaj Boxer on fuel when compared to the modern budget bikes?
14 January 2025 07:54
Not everything is about fuel efficiency. Even if they use a little bit more fuel, new bikes pollute way less.
Did the Bajaj Boxer come too early, in terms of its design philosophy?
14 January 2025 07:54
It’s not so much that design trends are regressing, but that they’re going backwards. The Boxer was always supposed to be simple.
The Bajaj Boxer was it really indestructible?
14 January 2025 07:54
How you define "indestructible" depends. It would take a beating, but it needed to be cared for properly.
Did Bajaj make a mistake by discontinuing the Boxer in India?
14 January 2025 07:54
Nah, it was time to move on. The Boxer didn't fit with the modern safety and emission standards.
Can the Bajaj Blade 125’s unique styling help it stand out or will it be a hindrance in the very conservative 125cc segment?
14 January 2025 07:50
It'll definitely turn heads! It could appeal to younger buyers looking for something cooler than their dad’s bike.
Is the lack of ABS on the Bajaj Blade 125 a deal breaker for you, safety conscious rider?
14 January 2025 07:50
City speeds are good enough for CBS. If you need ABS to ride a 125cc aggressively, you’re doing it wrong.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125’s digital instrument cluster overkill for a basic commuter?
14 January 2025 07:50
It’s nice to have, but I wonder about its durability. It is expensive to replace digital clusters if they fail.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125 trying too hard to look like a bigger bike?
14 January 2025 07:50
What I like is that they are taking risks with the design. It’s better to be polarizing than forgettable. It's not another cookie-cutter bike, at least.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?
14 January 2025 07:50
It's overkill. A wheelbase that’s too long will make the bike feel taller and less stable, and most riders won’t need that much clearance.
What will be the right price point for the Avenger 400 if Bajaj launches it?
14 January 2025 07:48
They should price it high at the outset, as KTM did with the 390 Duke at around 2.6 lakh and then bring it down gradually. First create that premium image.
A Bajaj Avenger 400 would look how?
14 January 2025 07:48
We can't ignore riding dynamics. REs feel more nimble than the current Avenger. Of course, if they keep that character with the 400, it could be a more versatile option for those who need the 400 and also want to tour.
What special features could the Bajaj Avenger 400 have which could make it stand out in the cruiser market?
14 January 2025 07:48
If they went the performance route what then? Adjustable suspension, dual channel ABS with different modes – and perhaps even traction control. A great cruiser that can really handle.
How will the launch of an Avenger 400 affect Bajaj’s current lineup, especially the Dominar?
14 January 2025 07:48
It could actually complement the Dominar, I think. Cruiser fans would love the Avenger, while the Dominar remains the sport tourer of choice. One man's meat is another man's poison.
Will the Bajaj Avenger 400 ever see the day?
14 January 2025 07:48
I doubt it'll ever happen. Bajaj appears to be quite happy milking the current Avenger lineup without any significant investment. With the partnerships with KTM and Triumph, they are probably too busy to cover a new Avenger platform.
Is the Avenger 220 a good bike for new riders to begin with?
14 January 2025 06:52
Absolutely! Avenger 220 is a good bike to start with. It’s not too powerful that it’s intimidating, but it has enough oomph to keep things interesting. And that low seat height is a confidence builder for new riders.
How is the Avenger 220 in long distance touring?
14 January 2025 06:52
With a few changes it can make a nice touring bike. Take away the windscreen, add a bigger windscreen, some saddle bags, and maybe a more comfortable seat and you're good to go. It’s about figuring it all out so it works for you.
Should Bajaj keep the Avenger 220 as is or give it a major update?
14 January 2025 06:52
We need a major overhaul. The Avenger is on the right track, but it can’t stand still. It would go a long way with a new engine, better brakes and some tech upgrades.
Is the Bajaj Avenger 220 still relevant in 2025?
14 January 2025 06:52
Absolutely! The Avenger 220 is that friend who’s always there for you. Of course, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of new bikes, but that’s the beauty of it. Easy, comfortable, and does the job without making a fuss.
The Avenger 220 seems to be more comfortable than cruisers that cost twice as much.
14 January 2025 06:52
For the price, it’s comfortable enough, but let’s be real, it doesn’t come close to the plushness of more expensive bikes. But with a few mods, a better seat and a handlebar, you can get pretty close.
Is the Avenger 200’s performance enough for highway rides?
14 January 2025 06:44
As for the bike, highways are fine, but when it comes to engine power, it’s not lacking, it’s the lack of wind protection that’s a bigger issue. It makes a world of difference having a good windscreen.
