I don’t think people have been kind enough to the Chetak. Unlike some of the plasticky competitors, it’s built to last. How well the old Chetaks are standing up is something to see.

Regarding build quality, it’s good, but the design compromises some practicalities. The underseat storage is incredibly small compared to other scooters in this range.

During monsoons, I’ve had water seepage problems. That's pretty disappointing for a "premium" scooter. The TVS iQube feels more weather proof.

The strongest point of the Chetak's build quality. It seems like it can take a beating, and that’s important on our roads. I just wish the service network was better.

The real problem is the charging time. You can't just fill up and go like you can with petrol.

On normal roads it's okay, but on bigger potholes it struggles. Suspension could be better.
