Wednesday, 17 January 2024 07:10 PM Zontes has announced a significant price cut for the 350R in India, making it more competitive in the market. The bike now costs Rs. 2.79 lakh, a reduction of Rs. 46,000 from its previous price. This move is part of Zontes strategy to boost sales and attract more buyers. I believe this price cut could make the 350R a more appealing option for those looking for a feature-packed bike.
Wednesday, 21 September 2022 09:00 PM The Zontes 350R has been launched in India as a naked streetfighter, positioning itself as a rival to the KTM 390 Duke. The bike features a 348cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, producing 38.8 horsepower and 32.8 Nm of torque. It also comes with advanced features like a digital cluster and dual-channel ABS. I think the aggressive design and tech-heavy features could make it a strong contender in the mid-capacity segment.
Wednesday, 21 September 2022 09:15 AM Despite its promising specifications, the Zontes 350R has received mixed reviews in India. Experts have praised its radical design and feature list but criticized its engine refinement, performance, and overall quality. The bikes service network and quality have also been a point of concern. I believe that while the 350R has potential, it needs significant improvements to match the standards set by its competitors.
Wednesday, 21 September 2022 06:24 AM Zontes has emphasized the safety features of the 350R, including a state-of-the-art ABS system and a sophisticated digital cluster with real-time insights. The bike also boasts a strong yet lightweight frame, ensuring superior agility and handling. I think the focus on safety and technology is a step in the right direction, but the brand needs to work on its service network to build customer trust.
Wednesday, 21 September 2022 04:11 PM The Zontes 350R is available in three colors - Blue, Black, and White - and comes in three variants, all priced at Rs. 2.79 lakh. The bike features a 15-liter fuel tank, 17-inch alloys, and disc brakes at both ends. I believe the variety in colors and the consistent pricing across variants could help in appealing to a broader audience.

Zontes 350R Review

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

In India, the 2024 Zontes 350R bike has a starting price of Rs 3,15,000. Adishwar Auto Ride India, a company that also sells Benelli and Keeway products in India, has partnered with Zontes.

350R is available from Zontes in one variant and three different colour choices. A single-cylinder BS6 348cc liquid-cooled engine powers this KTM 390 Duke rival. The front and rear disc brakes on the Zontes 350R are equipped with an anti-lock braking system.

To compete with the BMW G310R and KTM 390 Duke in our market, Zontes India introduced the 350R. There is only one model of the motorcycle available in Silver, Blue, and Black colours. The available colours have an impact on the price of this bare-bones roadster. The most expensive colour options are Black and Silver, making Blue the most affordable of the three.

Among the styling features are a sharp-looking headlight, a powerful fuel tank, and a step-up seat. A twin-barrel exhaust, a rear hugger-mounted numberplate and turn indicators also add to its design. Modern features complement the motorcycle's chiselled and acute design. The five-inch LCD, keyless entry, full-LED lighting, and tyre pressure monitoring system are among these features.

The BS6 348cc liquid-cooled engine is linked to a constant mesh six-speed gearbox. It is tuned to produce a max power of 38.8 HP at 9500 RPM and a peak torque of 32.8 Nm at 7500 RPM. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, 43mm upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both ends to round out the hardware. The safety net for the new Zontes 350R includes a dual-channel ABS system.

Attractive bike with a sleek design, making it a great eye-candy for bike enthusiasts

Sana Ifran Khan | 2 years ago

The Zontes 350R is an attractive bike with a sleek design, making it a great eye-candy for bike enthusiasts. However, the performance of the bike is not as confidence-inspiring as the KTM Duke or the Yamaha MT series. There were some issues with the bike in terms of shifting from 3rd to 4th gear, which had to be done more than once before it would engage. The pickup and performance were also acceptable, but could still use some refinement. There was also a pinging noise when revving the engine, which is something that I have not heard on any other bike.

Overall, the Zontes 350R is an acceptable bike for its price point, however, I wouldn't recommend purchasing one right away until the company solves the issues and offers a refreshed model. I do have some concerns about the engine due to its lower quality material, which I experienced firsthand with my Lifan bike in Qatar. While I hope that this bike will do well in our markets and give the KTM bikes a run for their money, the current model should be handled with caution.

Impressive engine, but its build quality does not stand up to the competition

Anika Agrawal | 2 years ago

The Zontes 350R has an impressive engine, but its build quality does not stand up to the competition. It's lack of refinement and higher price than its rivals make it a less attractive proposition. That said, its bold design, and the feeling it gives you when you ride it hard and fast, make it a tempting option. However, if you are looking for a more refined, cost-effective ride, the BMW G 310R or the KTM 390 Duke may be better options.

The Zontes 350R is a great all

Pramod Kumar | 2 years ago

The Zontes 350R is a great all-rounder and will satisfy both the bike enthusiast looking for a bit of fun and the commuter who needs a reliable ride for the daily grind. The power delivery from the 348cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor is great, with 38PS of power and 32.8Nm of torque available. The 6-speed gearbox is aptly geared and the motor loves to be revved, with plenty of power available throughout the rev range. You'll have loads of fun revving this bike all the way up to the redline. The exhaust note is quite KTM-ish, and sounds great too. At low speeds, the engine is tractable and can cruise along in high gears without any issues. However, when riding at high speeds, things can feel a bit unsettling.

Keyless operation is a great addition

Shinde Vikas Ganesh | 2 years ago

The keyless operation is a great addition to Zontes 350R, as it allows you to start the bike with a single tap on your phone. The dual-channel ABS ensures better safety, while the TPMS helps you monitor your tyre pressure. The 5-inch LCD unit is the icing on the cake, as it allows you to see your speed, revs, and other metrics in a full-colour, anti-glare display. The screen mirroring function is also a great addition, as it allows you to use your phone as a navigation aid. With different layouts to choose from, you can be sure to find one which suits your style and preferences.

Tons of features with some downsides

Preeti Yadav | 2 years ago

The 350R comes with a ton of features, from keyless operation to dual-channel ABS and tyre pressure monitoring system, which I found to be really useful. The adjustable 5-inch full-colour anti-glare LCD unit with screen mirroring is also a neat addition, and the instrument panel is well-organised without feeling cluttered. I also appreciate the back-lit switches and buttons, which I haven't seen before.

One downside, though, is the placement of the USB charging port, which is placed in a very uncomfortable spot. It can be an obstruction to the steering if one plugs in the USB cable on the move, and it can also damage the cable in the process. The fuel cap and the seat lock also have handy buttons, meaning there's no need for a key. However, this could be a problem if the battery dies, which Zontes fortunately anticipates by providing an add-on 24-hour emergency roadside assistance service and a two-year unlimited km warranty.
