About
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is a stylish and performance-driven motorcycle that shares its platform with the KTM 250 Duke but offers a unique twist. With its 249cc liquid-cooled SOHC engine producing 31hp and 25Nm of torque, this bike is designed for both city riding and highway cruising. The bi-directional quickshifter and ride-by-wire technology enhance the riding experience, while the switchable ABS and Supermoto ABS mode add to its versatility. The bike features a simple yet informative 5-inch LCD display and premium switchgear, although it lacks Bluetooth connectivity. The seat height of 820mm and the wide, long seat ensure comfort for both the rider and pillion. The suspension, though not adjustable, handles bumps well, making it suitable for Indian roads. Overall, the Vitpilen 250 is a great choice for those looking for a fun, comfortable, and feature-rich motorcycle at an affordable price.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is a compelling package that combines style, performance, and comfort, making it a standout in the 250cc segment in India. I found the bike to be incredibly fun to ride, with its 249cc liquid-cooled SOHC motor delivering 31hp and 25Nm of torque, which is reminiscent of the energetic first-gen KTM 200 Duke. The bi-directional quickshifter is a game-changer, enhancing the riding experience significantly. The bikes build quality is impressive, with upmarket plastics, consistent panel gaps, and a comfortable seat that offers good under-thigh support. However, there were some minor issues with the front brake pads wearing off quickly and high-speed stability, but these could be isolated incidents. Overall, the Vitpilen 250 offers a well-rounded experience, making it a worthy purchase at its price point.
Price
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is priced at Rs. 2.19 lakh ex-showroom in India, which is approximately Rs. 21,000 less than the KTM 250 Duke. This pricing makes the Vitpilen 250 an attractive option for those seeking a premium yet affordable motorcycle. Given the features, performance, and build quality, the price seems justified, offering good value for money.
2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 on road price is Rs 2.52 lakh in Delhi, Rs 2.61 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 2.55 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 2.58 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Husqvarna dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.

Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

Vitpilen is agile and fun motorcycle for short or city rides. The design is unique and grabs lots of attention. Cafe racer aggressive sitting posture and high seat nearly 840mm is bit challenging for people with 5.6 or below. The bike is nearly perfect for short swiftly city rides but long turning radius and low ground clearance is only the cons while commuting in narrow lanes and bumpy road. I Love MY Vitpilen.
