Vehicle Overview | As per the latest buzz and rumors, Yamaha is working on XSR300 retro naked motorcycle, which would be a successor to the legendary RD350. Yamaha XSR300 is expected to be powered by the same 321cc 2-cylinder engine, which also powers the R3 and MT-03. It generates maximum power of 42 PS and maximum torque of 29.6 NM. The engine would be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It is too early to comment on the launch and the price, but we can expect the XSR300 to be priced around Rs 3 lakh. |

Yeah, successor to the RD350? Only those that never had or rode an RD350 would say this. Seriously? It'd need another 15hp to be close to "the successor".
Yamaha should launch xsr300 soon as to capture the rising market in middle engine bike riders in India.
Without ABS, without front double discs, and competing 372 cc (Bajaj), 350 cc Bullet, Will be very difficult.
Yes it's a biggest thing to take and coming rd350 return
will take more then 4 years to reach india
