About
The TVS Velocity 160 Street Fighter is a bike that attempts to blend a streetfighter design with a 160cc engine. However, it lacks the refinement and performance expected from a bike in this segment. The engine, while capable, is marred by high-speed vibrations that make the bike difficult to control. The design, though aggressive and appealing, does not compensate for the poor braking system and stability issues. The bike features a single-cylinder engine, but specific details on its power output and torque are not available. Overall, it seems to be a bike that needs significant improvements to compete effectively in the Indian market.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Velocity 160 Street Fighter, while an intriguing concept, falls short in several critical areas that are paramount for a satisfying riding experience. The bikes high-speed vibration and poor control at higher speeds are significant concerns, making it less stable and more challenging to handle. Additionally, the braking system is subpar, often leading to skidding, which is a major safety issue. These drawbacks overshadow any potential benefits of its design or features, making it a less desirable option for those seeking a reliable and safe ride.
Price
The TVS Velocity 160 Street Fighter is priced at around 80,000 in India, ex-showroom. However, when you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other miscellaneous charges, the price can escalate to approximately 95,000 to 1,00,000. Given the issues with vibration and braking, this price point seems steep, especially when compared to other bikes in the same segment that offer better performance and safety features.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 02:50 PM
The mileage of the TVS Velocity 160 Street Fighter is not particularly impressive, which can be a significant concern for buyers looking to minimize running costs. While exact mileage figures are not provided, the general feedback suggests that it does not match the efficiency of some of its competitors. This could lead to higher fuel expenses over time, making it less economical in the long run.

TVS Velocity 160 Street Fighter Discussion

Awesome style.. 160cc is good but plz increase the bhp at least 16.2 - 16.9 something like that(If it is possible plz increase the cc as 180).... and plz do some changes in Disc oil box(u knw wat it is not looking good).... I am so excited 2 c the danger light model, plz dont make resemble of any other Indian bike model. Bcz apache brings something different so plz focus on that do different. This colour is awesome, why dont u launch white & green colour. And plz give new style horns in the top of the back tail(Plz dont spoil bike style). Alloy, Disc plate, Cylinder are superb....... APACHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...
when u r providing 120 & 150 tyer combenation then 15.9 bhp is too low for a streat fighter. Plz increase the cc to 180 & bhp upto 22-25. Jst air cool plz grow up...& what about abs? We have enough faith on tvs. Plz cmbine upper things & we r egerly waiting for ride to rull the road.
very nice i like it but the power have to increase
it is very good bikes
tvs always copy ..from other brands ...all parts are copied ...shame on u tvs .. ithi bike only has a large disk break ..& fat tyres .as u can see after all talk about power KTM-Bajaj 125cc street fighter has the same bhp as it is but in 160 cc engine 15.2 is nothing for a street fighter bike ..even the new pulsar 150ug4.5 has a bhp of 50.10 .. overall itz a cheape copy of popular bikes
In which month it will launched?
No wer near to streetfighter bike.....
check out ducati streetfighter bike in youtube.....
Velocity 160 looks good.
TVS copied KTM style
Look like assh ,,,man...its copy of fz&dazzler ,,
Please let me know when Apache Velocity Street Fighter will be launched?
Where I will get the velocity 160 soon. please tell me immediately
Man...........Its Apache!!!!!!!
I am sure the final version of Velocity 160 will look a lot better. The current one is just modified apache. So, lets wait for the final version.
The tank is too sleek and is the same as Apache. The tank needs to be bulged on the top-rear part, like a cobra hood. Also, 150-mm wide rear tyre? Fearing low mileage, people hesitate to buy fz16 because of its thick 140-mm rear tyre. The rear tyre should not be so wide. Dazzler has 110-mm wide rear tyre, so 120-mm wide rear tyre is more than enough.
And yes, same apache double-cradle chassis? Diamond or delta frame would be better.
But congrats to TVS on the disc brakes, the rear monoshock, and the stronger upside-down front shocks.
Looks of TVS Velocity 160 are worstttttttttttttt..!!
