USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Disc is one of the best bikes in the 150/160cc segment. It offers great performance, smooth riding experience, and an attractive sporty design. The gear shifting is very smooth and the riding posture is upright and comfortable, making the bike suitable for people of heights greater than 5.5ft. The horn is great and loud, sounding like a car horn. The brakes are also good enough, with the front-brake having a good bite. In terms of looks, the Apache RTR 160 4V Disc has a very sporty design, and its performance is excellent for a 160cc bike. The top speed has been measured to be 127 km/h with no vibrations. The mileage of the bike is around 42 km/l in the city and 48+ km/l on the highways. The servicing of the bike is the same as any other normal moped, and it will cost around Rs 900 per service (including the cost of oil and filter). The only downside of the bike is the design of the side stand, which is bent in a way that makes it difficult to park the bike on

Stylish and Good Performer

Style: It's a beautifully crafted beast, when you just sit on the bike you feel like you are in a Race. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: It's loaded with 160CC powerful RTR engine that you can really feel it. And fuel economy is good! I have just done with 2nd service (today) and so far I have got 60kmpl riding around 55km/hr and had never crossed 60km/hr.. but today I was really exited and happy to ride my beast at its best, I really enjoyed the pickup, speed, thrill.... coming to gearbox it lags (some times), it is smooth while the up shifts and stuck while down shifts and have to slow down the bike for down shifts but this is a common problem in all bike range. Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality and Handling is extremely good.. but rear tyre slips when you brake, you might have to use good quality tyres. Areas of improvement: Riding comfort as riders get back ache, tyres, gearbox

Best Features: RTR, dashboard has many options, etc

Pros: Good performance, stylish, fuel economy, ride quality

Cons: Comfort, gearbox

The RTR 4V 160 Apache is an incredibly fun bike to ride. The seating is very comfortable and the performance is top notch. The mileage on this bike is also impressive, and you can be sure that you'll be able to get around town quickly and efficiently. The bike is very user-friendly and is great for a beginner rider or a more experienced one. Overall, the RTR 4V 160 Apache is a great ride and a great value.

After buying this bike one year ago, I have been facing a lot of issues. The oil leakage from the engine has been an ongoing problem that has been repaired multiple times, yet it still persists. The brakes make too much noise, and I am unable to shift the gear properly. I cannot increase the speed beyond 60, and the engine noise has not been fixed even after taking it for repairs. The gear sometimes gets stuck and I have to manually release the clutch to shift it. All of this has happened within the first year of owning the bike. Needless to say, I am not very pleased with the performance of the bike.

The buying experience of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V was good. The bike had good in-built quality overall and the performance was great with a mileage of around 45-50 km/l. So far, there have been no issues with the bike and it is a smooth ride. The exhaust sound is great and the service cost is reasonable. One issue, however, is that the 160cc segment does not have a gear shift indicator or a smart connect feature.

The speed of the TVS Apache RTR 160 was absolutely incredible – it felt like riding a rocket! And the design was truly impressive – it had a great sporty look that was sure to turn heads. But the best part was the price. It was extremely reasonable given the features and performance of the bike. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great bike at an affordable price.
