USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Suzuki Lets Dual-Tone is a compelling option in the 110cc scooter segment in India, offering a balance of performance, practicality, and value. Its 112.8cc engine, powered by Suzukis Eco Performance (SEP) technology, delivers a robust 8.7bhp and 9Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful scooters in its class. The dual-tone color schemes add a touch of elegance, and the scooters lightweight design and comfortable ride quality make it an excellent choice for daily commuting. However, the feature list is somewhat limited, and the braking could be improved. Overall, it is a reliable and efficient scooter that is well-suited for both men and women, especially those looking for a hassle-free and fuel-efficient ride.
Price
The Suzuki Lets Dual-Tone is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price typically ranges between 55,000 to 60,000, depending on the region and the specific color variant. On-road prices, including registration, insurance, and other costs, can range from 65,000 to 75,000. Given its performance, mileage, and overall build quality, the Suzuki Lets Dual-Tone offers good value for money. It is important to note that prices can vary slightly based on the state and local taxes, so its always a good idea to check with local dealers for the most accurate pricing.
Latest Updates
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 08:02 AM Suzuki has officially discontinued the Lets scooter in India, marking the end of its production run that began in June 2014. This decision comes as the company focuses on other models in its lineup. The Lets was known for its lightweight design and Suzuki Eco Performance engine, but it faced several issues including reliability and maintenance problems.
Tuesday, 15 October 2024 10:25 AM Several owners of the Suzuki Lets have reported significant maintenance issues, including wiring failures, front shock tube failures, and problems with the mileage and various cables. These issues have led to a negative perception of the scooters reliability. I think this highlights the importance of robust quality control and after-sales service.
Friday, 20 September 2024 03:52 PM The Suzuki Lets was praised for its design and styling, particularly its lightweight and compact build. However, some users found the engine noise to be a significant drawback. The scooter was available in four color options, which added to its visual appeal. I believe the design was one of the stronger points of this scooter.
Sunday, 25 August 2024 07:29 PM The Suzuki Lets was known for its fuel efficiency, with an ARAI mileage of 63 kmpl. However, real-world mileage varied, with some owners reporting around 40-45 kmpl. The scooter had a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters, allowing it to cover approximately 260 kilometers on a full tank. This made it a decent option for daily commutes.
Tuesday, 30 July 2024 08:55 AM The Suzuki Lets was powered by a 112cc SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine, producing 8.5 bhp and 9 Nm of torque. The engine was mated to a CVT transmission, making it easy to ride in urban conditions. However, the performance was not as robust as some of its competitors. I think the engine could have been more powerful to match user expectations.
Saturday, 15 June 2024 01:11 AM The Suzuki Lets faced stiff competition from other scooters in the Indian market, such as the Honda Activa i, TVS Scooty Zest 110, and the Hero Pleasure. Despite its unique features, it struggled to gain significant market share. I believe the competition played a significant role in its discontinuation.
Monday, 20 May 2024 10:03 AM The Suzuki Lets came with optional features like a storage box and a mobile charger, which were becoming standard in scooters at the time. These features added to the scooters practicality but did not significantly boost its sales. I think these features were a step in the right direction but needed more to stand out.
Thursday, 25 April 2024 08:41 AM Many owners reported poor service experiences and reliability issues with the Suzuki Lets. Problems such as frequent repairs and unresponsive service centers contributed to a negative user experience. This lack of reliability was a major factor in the scooters decline.
Friday, 15 March 2024 08:23 AM The Suzuki Lets was launched in June 2014 as an entry-level scooter, particularly marketed towards women. Initially, it received mixed reviews, with some praising its lightweight design and others criticizing its performance and reliability. I think the initial reception set the tone for its eventual discontinuation.
Tuesday, 20 February 2024 07:12 AM Suzuki targeted the Lets at female riders, positioning it as a lightweight and easy-to-handle scooter. However, the marketing strategy did not resonate as well as expected, and the scooter failed to capture a significant share of the female rider market. I believe a broader marketing approach might have helped.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 03:45 AM The Suzuki Lets Dual-Tone boasts an impressive mileage, thanks to its SEP technology. With an ARAI-certified mileage of 63 kmpl, it is one of the most fuel-efficient scooters in its segment. In real-world conditions, owners have reported an average mileage of around 45-50 kmpl, which is still quite commendable. This makes the Suzuki Lets an excellent choice for those concerned about running costs and fuel efficiency.

Suzuki Lets is the best scooter in India

t's like one day I had to take Lets to Gurgaon which is approximately 70km. That day I realized the true power of Suzuki Lets. I found it very easy handling as it was super peppy with fantastic pickup fun. Since it was Sunday and the road was clear I pulled it to its maximum limit. Ever since, I am using it for my daily commuting. Now I don't like to drive my car much. Ramen Paul Delhi Riders Club

In hindi we can say 'paisa vasool scooty'. I bought it on 5th November 2014 at 51000 rupees since I am riding my let's I have calculated mileage several times the mileage of all calculations is 58.26 km/L pickup is very nice it can achieve a top speed of 95 km/h It can win the races from TVS Jupiter, TVS Wego, Honda Activa , Honda Aviator and Mahindra gusto. As I am living in Bhopal it is very difficult to come out of heavy traffic but after TVS Scooty PEP+ this Scooty can move out of heavy traffic easily . Me and my family are feeling very happy to buy this scooty and if anyone wants to buy Let's do not buy red or white colour because it does not look good. I have silver colour and it shines very much after very less time to be clean. Thank you Manik Suzuki to help me choose a perfect scooty for my family......

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing
