The BS6 Suzuki Intruder has been launched in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.20 lakh. The motorcycle is available in a single variant with a fuel injection system as standard. According to the brand, they have updated the cruiser motorcycle with a new ignition system, ECU, and exhaust system to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms.
Apart from updating the motorcycle to make it BS6-compliant, Suzuki has not made any changes in terms of the looks and design. The 2020 model of the Intruder 150 is available in three colour options: Metallic Matte Black/Candy Sanoma Red, Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, and Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.

In terms of safety, the bike continues to be equipped with a single-channel ABS unit as standard. The cruiser motorcycle is powered by the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is now BS6-compliant. The engine is now capable enough of producing maximum power of 13.6HP @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8Nm @ 6000 rpm.
The power and torque figures have decreased when compared to the BS4 engine, which was good for 14.1HP of maximum power and 14Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle retains the cruiser DNA as it continues to feature the forward-set footpegs, impressive seating position and a huge front headlight with unique handlebar position. The BS6 model of the Suzuki Intruder 150 continues to be equipped with a well-placed all-digital instrument console. In its price range, the Intruder 150 competes with the likes of Bajaj Avenger Street series.
