Suzuki Motorcycle India has discontinued the Suzuki Intruder 155 in India due to lackluster demand. The model, introduced in 2017, failed to match the popularity of its rival, the Bajaj Avenger 220. This move suggests Suzuki is focusing on more successful models in the market.
Motorcycle India Ltd has removed the Intruder 150 cruiser motorcycle from its official website, confirming that the bike has been discontinued at last.
The BS6 Suzuki Intruder saw a price hike of Rs. 2,141 in July 2020. This price increase was part of a broader price adjustment that also affected other Suzuki models like the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 155 range, as well as their scooters.
Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the 2019 Suzuki Intruder in April 2019, priced at Rs. 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
