Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

Review after riding 33,000Kms
Am from Thrissur, Kerala... I bought my gixxer SF in 2016 from classic omega dealership... It was looking amazing in a glass sparkle black colour... I never rode a Suzuki in my whole life this was the first I only had ridden few motorcycles Yamaha fz16, pulsar 220f for a long period and both the fz and 220 performed really well.. I asked Suzuki before booking the gixxer SF for a test ride but, they always says the same reason we don't have any test bikes.. Then how will customers able to know how it feels to ride.. My home was just 20kms away from the dealership and I noticed after riding my new gixxer SF for few kilometres that the gear shifts are very hard compared to fz and sometimes it hard to shift from 2nd to 1st gear in stop and go traffic.. I didn't bother it much because it was new... And after that, I took it for a 320kms after 1st service hill station ride and noticed that the engine was not pulling up hill and I was not able to overtake the car in Infront of me whenever I was getting a chance to overtake.. Later I shared my problems with service guys and they said it must be the problem with carburettor and they cleaned the carburettor and fuel tank even then there was only a slight difference in performance.. Whenever I try to push it hard (after break-in period) the motorcycle was showing misfiring when I try to touch the 3 digit no. in the speedometer I was totally broke by my bike’s performance it was not the bike which I wanted.. Never in my life fz16 or 200 given me such kind problems.. I always check the oil level of the motorcycle before I go for the ride whether it's fz or pulsar 220 I check it and both of them never needed top up until next oil change.. But, Gixxer after riding for 500kms after the 3rd service I noticed the oil level going down slowly after every ride.. Then I saw the oil leak from the magnetic coil area and ran to the service centre and asked them to check because the bike was under warranty a

Best in class
I bought it in March of last year. Since I bought it I'm enjoying the bike mileage I'm getting above 50kmpl in city as well as on highway. Overall its best in class. But I'm suffering by an issue since I bought it. I found gear shifting is too much hard since I bought it. Several times I complained about that to local Suzuki service station but no use problem is still there.if Suzuki will look after this issue I'm very much thankful.
Best Features: Power, mileage, styling.
Pros: Performance,riding quality,mileage,looks
Cons: Gear shifting very hard, built quality
Suzuki Gixxer Discussion
hi, am planning to buy Suzuki Gixxer. bt which is the best one Gixxer or Gixxer SF?? Suggest please...
What is the actual mileage of Gixxer?
bike shall be selected based low rpm versus max trq and is nothing but cricket .here rpm is no of balls and trq power are runs.torque and power gives speed(KMPH) to bike .vivian richards scores 100 runs with 56 balls .here 100runs means 100kmph 56 balls means nx1000 more man has broken the record and did 100 runs with 54 balls.
so you engineers first make correct meter .I observed videos where in bike moving at 50kmph but rpm is at is wrong .when the bike running at 9000rpm its torque and power almost all achieved for bikes so why the meter showing 50kmph?.
I m really intrested with this bike and immpressed about feature of GXR look ,mileage, gear system and the good thing is price
Amazing bike !! throw into corners at decent speed u will love the feel !! .. vale for MONEY
i own a pulsar 150 and my friend own a gixxer pulsar has got better pickup and stability than gixxer the only problem with pulsar 150
is that it comes with very small tyres which limit the performance the bike. if you have to change the tyres to a broader ones then u must change the rim. gixxer is so smooth and corners like a pro bike. pulsar gives a milage of 65-60 below 80kmph. gixxer gives only 45-50. according tome both are excellent machines. pulsar has negligable gearbox problems.
I own one. And must say worth my money. I am getting 52 kmpl . power front. No complaints . just one hard thing is the shock absorber. I find them stiff. Rest all . good
What is the on-road price of Gixxer in Bhubaneswar ?
Suzuki Gixxer is a head to head competition to Fz....Even it supersedes
fz in power, mileage, drivability & most imp Price. Earlier people
gathered in suzuki showroom for only Access, now people are rushing like
anything for Gixxer... Only Gs150r could also got such response then it
would have been great
compare all bikes and see how hard is gixxer
hi friends... i am from sri lanka. how can i get this bike????
Hi Friends,
I own a gixxer bike.
It has good pick up
It has good road girp
Good milage.
> For indian road conditions(uneven speed breakers) groud clearance could be more as silencer chamber below engine touches when heavy weight person sits on the bike, It has 160 cm of ground clearance., which is 5cm less than FZ.
> We have to use tank cover as petrol tank cap has gap( similar to pulsar), so can stop rain water entering into the tank's neck.
> Details of distance and petrol i filled(after reserve) from the beginning of my Gixxer bike ride.
2 ltr = 84 km = 42 km/ltr
2 ltr = 108 km = 54 km/ltr
3 ltr = 186.5 km = 62 km/ltr
3 ltr = 148.3 km = 49.4 km/ltr
1 ltr = 50km
2 ltr = 103.4 km = 52km/ltr
2 ltr = 116 km = 58km/ltr
So avg milage is 47 - 52
I use Unleaded(normal) petrol.
Smooth ride - top speed of 50 km.
My daily ride is mix of half-highway/free road like highway and half - city.
Still now i have used 700+ km.
