Suzuki has refreshed the Gixxer motorcycle family with new colours announced on September 7, 2026. The update covers the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250 and Gixxer SF 250 FFV. Starting prices run from ₹1,37,221 to ₹1,98,476, ex-showroom Delhi. The announcement adds colour choices while retaining the range's existing design and performance attributes.

New colours and starting prices by model
| Model | New colour option | Starting price, ex-showroom Delhi |
|---|---|---|
| Gixxer | Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Blaze Orange | ₹1,37,221 |
| Gixxer SF | Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Blaze Orange | ₹1,40,729 |
| Gixxer 250 | Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray | ₹1,84,517 |
| Gixxer SF 250 | Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray | ₹1,92,768 |
| Gixxer SF 250 FFV | Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray; Glass Sparkle Black | ₹1,98,476 |

The gray-and-orange combination joins the existing choices for both 155cc motorcycles. In the 250cc range, the new black-and-gray finish is shared across the naked, fully faired and flex-fuel versions. The FFV also gains a separate Glass Sparkle Black option. Buyers should use the complete colour name when checking dealership availability, as several combinations include black or gray.

What stays the same mechanically?
The Gixxer and Gixxer SF retain a 155cc single-cylinder engine rated at 13.6 PS and 13.8 Nm. Their listed equipment includes Suzuki Ride Connect, LED lighting, disc brakes and single-channel ABS. The colour announcement does not describe a new engine or a new generation of either motorcycle.
The Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 retain the 250cc single-cylinder engine with Suzuki Oil Cooling System, rated at 26.5 PS and 22.2 Nm. They use a six-speed transmission and dual-channel ABS. The naked Gixxer versions and fully faired SF versions continue to offer different body styles within their respective engine classes.
The SF 250 FFV is a distinct flex-fuel version, designed for fuel with ethanol concentrations up to 85%. Its stated output is 27.9 PS and 22.5 Nm. That fuel compatibility should not be transferred to a standard Gixxer or SF merely because it shares a similar name or colour.
What the refresh means for a purchase
This is primarily a wider choice of finishes for buyers already considering the Gixxer range. Someone waiting for major mechanical revisions should not read the new colours as confirmation of those changes. The relevant comparison remains the preferred body style, engine class, equipment and the exact variant's fuel compatibility.
Suzuki says the refreshed series will be available through its dealerships across India. That national availability statement does not guarantee that every colour is in stock at every outlet. Confirm the exact combination, manufacturing month and delivery timing with the dealer, and obtain an on-road quotation covering registration and insurance separately from the listed ex-showroom price.
The September 2026 Gixxer update gives the five-model family new colour options without presenting a mechanical overhaul. Pick the motorcycle and variant that fit the intended use first, then verify the chosen finish and total price locally.
