Latest Updates
Tuesday, 15 October 2024 09:01 AM Royal Enfield has re-launched its 1:3 scale models of the Classic 500, which were first showcased at Motoverse 2022. These detailed models are priced at Rs. 94,990 and come in seven colors. Each model is hand-built with 964 components and features multiple moving parts. I think these scale models are a great way for enthusiasts to own a piece of Royal Enfields heritage without the full cost of the actual bike.
Friday, 15 March 2024 06:57 AM Royal Enfield has periodically released special editions of the Classic 500, such as the Tribute Black, which was limited to just 240 units. These special editions often come with unique color schemes and design elements. I think these limited editions keep the model fresh and exciting for enthusiasts.
Wednesday, 04 October 2023 08:08 AM The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 500 has been updated with notable styling cues. The bike is powered by a 499 cc petrol engine and comes with a manual transmission. It features a length of 2140 mm, a width of 790 mm, and a ground clearance of 135 mm. I believe these updates will appeal to fans of the classic design while offering modern reliability.
Tuesday, 23 April 2019 03:19 PM Royal Enfield introduced 1:12 scale models of the Classic 500, priced at Rs. 1,200. These models were available for pre-order and were set to be delivered in the first week of May 2019. This move shows Royal Enfields effort to expand its product line beyond motorcycles. I think these scale models are a great addition for collectors and fans.
Wednesday, 25 July 2018 02:39 PM Royal Enfield launched the limited-edition Classic 500 Pegasus Edition in India, with only 250 units available. The bike was sold out in under three minutes after its online sale went live. This edition draws inspiration from the Flying Flea motorcycles used during World War II. I think the quick sale shows the strong demand for unique and historic designs from Royal Enfield.
Thursday, 12 July 2018 05:20 AM The sale of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition was initially delayed due to the companys website crashing from an overwhelming response. The sale was rescheduled for July 25, 2018. The Pegasus Edition is priced at Rs. 2.40 lakh (on-road, Delhi) and is limited to 1000 units globally. I believe the technical issues highlighted the high anticipation for this limited edition.
Monday, 09 July 2018 04:39 AM Royal Enfield announced that the Classic 500 Pegasus Edition would go on sale on July 10, 2018, exclusively online. However, due to technical difficulties, the sale was postponed. The anticipation for this model was high, given its limited production run. I believe the online-only sale strategy was a bold move to manage demand.
Wednesday, 30 May 2018 10:18 AM The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition was unveiled in May 2018, with bookings set to start soon. This limited edition is inspired by the British armys Flying Flea motorcycles from World War II. Only 1000 units were produced globally, with 250 units allocated for India. I think this historical connection adds a unique charm to the bike.
Tuesday, 29 May 2018 09:47 AM The Royal Enfield Classic 500 has seen various price updates over the years, reflecting market conditions and updates. For instance, prices have ranged from Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 2,40,000 depending on the variant and edition. I think these price adjustments help keep the bike competitive in the market.

Choosing between the Royal Enfield Classic 500 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 for your daily commute depends on what you need. The Classic 500 is comfy with a retro style and low maintenance, great for city riding, but it may feel underpowered on highways. The Ninja 300 is more powerful, agile, and suitable for highways and quick moves in traffic, but its sporty position may be less comfy for longer commutes. Is Hero Hastur 620 more cool than Royal Enfield Classic 500?
29 December 2022 06:09
Hero Hastur and Royal Enfield Classic 500 are two extremely different type of motorcycles. The 499 cc, fuel injected single cylinder Royal Enfield Classic 500 is carrying a big engine with loads of body weight onto it. The engine is relaxed and tuned in the cruiser motorcycle segment while the Hastur on the other hand is street concept with a much bigger 620 cc engine. Hastur takes just 4 seconds for a 0-100 kmph sprint, thanks to its super light body while the top speed sits at 240 kmph. Royal Enfield has a limited top speed of 130 kmph.
