The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 now features a rear disc brake as a standard fitment in the Indian market. The bike is priced at Rs. 1.28 lakh for the standard model and Rs. 1.32 lakh for the ES variant. I believe the addition of the rear disc brake is a significant safety upgrade.

Absolutely worth it! The Bullet 350X is not just a bike, it’s an experience. There's nothing that compares to that classic thump and retro styling of any modern bike. Yeah, it isn't the fastest or most advanced, but that's not the point. It’s about how you feel pushing the bike, it’s about the journey.
How does the Bullet 350X fare for long distance touring when compared to other bikes in the same class?

Short tours are okay, but for serious long distance riding there are so much better options. After a few hours, the vibrations get tiring, and the lack of wind protection on highways is a real pain. Plus, the small fuel tank means you will be stopping often.
Is modifying a Bullet 350X for better performance a way of ruining its classic charm?

Moderate mods are fine I think. While the stock Bullet feels a little underpowered, some tweaks to improve performance can actually make the bike more fun to ride. Just don't go crazy with exhausts or gaudy accessories, though.

It's probably reliable enough for most users. Yes, it’s not bullet proof like some other brands, but if you’re cool with a little more attention and care, it’s not a problem. It makes up for with the riding experience.
