Our take on this /// Verdict
The KTM 65 SX is a formidable entry in the junior motocross segment, designed to bridge the gap between beginner bikes and full-size motocross machines. With its 64.9cc liquid-cooled two-stroke engine and 6-speed manual transmission, this bike offers a robust performance that is ideal for young riders looking to hone their skills on the track. The fully adjustable WP Xact suspension and high-quality components, such as the Marzocchi USD 35 mm front fork and WP Monoshock rear suspension, ensure a smooth and stable ride. The bikes lightweight design, weighing just 55.60 kg, makes it easy to handle, even for smaller riders. However, the lack of availability in India and the general perception of KTM bikes being overpriced might deter some potential buyers. Overall, the KTM 65 SX is a top-notch choice for junior motocross enthusiasts, but its market viability in India remains uncertain.
Price
The KTM 65 SX is not currently listed with a price in India, which suggests it may not be readily available in the local market. Given its international pricing, such as the 5,049 tag in other regions, if it were to be introduced in India, it would likely fall in the premium segment. Ex-showroom prices could be expected to be around 4-5 lakhs, considering import costs and local taxes. On-road prices would add additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local fees, potentially pushing the total to 5-6 lakhs. This pricing would position the KTM 65 SX as a high-end option, which might limit its appeal to a niche market of serious motocross enthusiasts.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 09:41 PM
Mileage is not a primary concern for a motocross bike like the KTM 65 SX, as these vehicles are designed for performance rather than fuel efficiency. However, for users who need to consider running costs, the two-stroke engine typically consumes more fuel compared to four-stroke engines. You can expect an approximate fuel consumption of around 20-30 kml, but this can vary significantly based on riding conditions and maintenance of the bike. Given its purpose, the KTM 65 SX is not meant for long-distance riding, so fuel efficiency is secondary to its performance capabilities.

The design of almost all the KTM bikes are such that, it will definitely become a complete flop in Indian Market. I personally became shocked after viewing the models. Please mention the Maximum Speed.
