USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Jawa Midnight Grey is a compelling addition to the Jawa lineup, particularly for those who appreciate its historical significance and aesthetic appeal. This special edition, launched to commemorate the 50 years of the 1971 war, stands out with its matte finish and blacked-out mechanical parts, including the engine, exhaust, and spoke wheels. The dark blue-grey hue is a nod to the nighttime battles of the war, and the special insignia and pinstripes in the Indian flags colors on the tank add a touch of patriotism. The updated 293cc single-cylinder engine, with a revised seat pan, firmer suspension, and a deeper exhaust note, enhances the riding experience. While it retains the same underpinnings as the standard Jawa, the overall package makes it a desirable choice for those seeking a retro-styled motorcycle with modern tweaks.
Price
The Jawa Midnight Grey is priced at Rs 1,93,357 ex-showroom in Delhi, which is Rs 6,000 more than the standard Maroon option. On-road prices will vary depending on the state and local taxes, but you can expect to pay around Rs 2.20 lakh to Rs 2.30 lakh, including registration, insurance, and other costs. Given the unique color scheme, blacked-out components, and the commemorative aspect, the premium over the standard model seems justified. However, its essential to consider your budget and whether the additional features and historical significance are worth the extra cost.
2024 Jawa Midnight Grey on road price is Rs 2.26 lakh in Delhi, Rs 2.34 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 2.29 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 2.32 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Jawa dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.

I think bike should install a digital meter as well. It would be helpful. Seat should be better as my Royal Enfield provides better seat than my Jawa Classic.

Best Features: Look of Bike

Pros: Look of bike is good, performance is also top notch with a great mileage.

Cons: Seats should be more comfortable. Service station is almost 40kms away from my place.
