It features a 293cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 27.3 PS of power and 28 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and dual-channel ABS. The bike sits on a double cradle frame and is equipped with a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, providing a comfortable ride. The design is a standout, with its classic lines, spoked wheels, and chrome accents. The bikes natural cruising speed is between 60-80 kmph, making it well-suited for urban and suburban riding. USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Jawa Classic Black Double Disc, although discontinued as of January 2024, leaves a mixed impression. On the positive side, this bike boasts a classic design that resonates well with those who appreciate retro aesthetics. The 293cc engine, though not the most powerful, provides a decent 27.3 PS of power and 28 Nm of torque, making it suitable for city rides and short highway jaunts. However, there are several niggles that detract from the overall experience. The rear brake lacks bite, and the front forks can be a bit too soft, leading to some discomfort during hard braking. Additionally, the seating position, while comfortable for shorter stints, can become uncomfortable for longer rides due to the lack of cushioning on the seat. Despite these issues, the bikes handling and mid-range punch are commendable, making it a viable option for those who value style and a unique riding experience.
Price
The Jawa Classic Black Double Disc, prior to its discontinuation, was priced around Rs. 2,03,000 ex-showroom in Delhi. On-road prices would typically include additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, which could push the price up to around Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 2.7 lakh, depending on the state and local regulations. While this pricing was competitive in its segment, its important to note that the bike is no longer available for purchase new. For those interested in similar models, it might be worth exploring other options within the Jawa lineup or comparable retro-style motorcycles.
Jawa Classic Black Double Disc on road price is Rs 2.18 lakh in Delhi, Rs 2.25 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 2.21 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 2.23 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Jawa dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.

Best Features: Look of Bike

Pros: Look of bike is good, performance is also top notch with a great mileage.

Cons: Seats should be more comfortable. Service station is almost 40kms away from my place.
