Expert opinion and recommendation
The 2023 Honda PCX 150 is a smart choice for riders seeking a stylish and efficient mode of transportation in the city. It has a well-maintained and durable 150cc engine that successfully balances power and fuel efficiency. The PCX 150's modern and stylish style is one of its finest features. Honda has paid attention to both form and function, resulting in a scooter that not only performs well but also looks great.
Recent news and announcements
The 2025 Honda PCX 150 has been unveiled with a sleek new design, featuring sharper lines, aggressive LED lighting, and a sportier stance. This update also includes enhanced performance with a potential engine upgrade for quicker acceleration and improved top speed. Additionally, the scooter boasts tech-focused features like a larger TFT display, smartphone connectivity, and keyless ignition. I believe this redesign will make the PCX 150 a strong contender in the urban commuting segment.
Honda is expected to launch the PCX 150 in India, although the exact launch date remains uncertain. The scooter is anticipated to be priced around Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom), making it a competitive option in the 150cc scooter market. It will feature a 153cc engine producing 13.4 BHP and 14 Nm of torque, along with modern features like an LCD instrument cluster and Combi-Brake system. I think the wait for this scooter has been long, but it seems it will be worth it for its performance and features.
Honda has unveiled the 2019 version of the PCX150 for global markets featuring a host of visual and technological upgrades. The design of the scooter remains the same as the previous model, although the most noticeable change is the style, full-LED headlamp with vertical LED turn signals. Other features include- an LCD instrument cluster, 28-litres of underseat storage and a small storage space in the front apron of the scooter.
The Honda PCX 150, when it eventually launches in India, will rival scooters like the Aprilia SR150 and Vespa VXL 150. It is powered by a 153cc, liquid-cooled engine and comes with a V-Matic transmission. The scooter also features 14-inch wheels, a 220 mm front disc brake, and a 130 mm rear drum brake. I believe the comfort and ride quality of the PCX 150 will be its standout features.
There has been significant speculation about the pricing of the Honda PCX 150 in India, with some estimates suggesting it could be as high as Rs 2.4 lakh due to import duties. However, official pricing from Honda has not been confirmed. The scooters advanced features, such as a full-LED headlamp and underseat storage, make it an attractive option, but the price remains a concern. I think the pricing will be crucial in determining its market success.

Expert Verdict
Professional reviews and expert opinions on Honda PCX 150
PCX-150 is an icon of practical living, defining the sense of taking more out of a certain resource. It has been an easy ride for most of the Europe and now Honda plans it to be the best ride on the Indian terrain. The coming up of PCX-150 would be marked as a new segment arrival, as no scooter gives what the PCX does and practically it cannot be equated with any of the present 2-wheeler in the market.

Design & Style
The design of the power scooter has been made which 2 things in the mind, style and comfort. Performance also plays some role here, but the two basics fulfilled in India can led to a compromise with the later one. The scooter looks sharp, with its twin headlight structure, resembles a hybrid between scooters and sports bike. The alloy wheels are neat and gentle with the exhaust seems to be borrowed from a race bike. All over, it’s totally a new concept for India.
Engine & Performance
The PCX-150, as per its name houses a 153 cc engine. The major properties being 4-stroke and liquid cooled, it is said to produce 13.4 BHP and 14 NM. The transmission being a V-Matic, the performance will be far better than any other scooter available in India. Even we can say most of the bikes will also be left behind.
Brakes & Suspension
The braking in the PCX is said to come with a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. It will also feature Honda's Combi-braking system, which applies the brake equally on both the ends. The suspension at the front is telescopic whereas the rear gets a monoshock for the work.
Shades & Expected Ex-showroom Price
The PCX-150 is expected in Red, Black, Brown and White shade with an expected price of INR 90,000.

I will buy whichever powerful scooter is launched first. All automatic scooters available in India are outdated.
riding the bike for more than 2hrs continuosly is scooter is an option for long abroad heavy engine scooters are ther.india is not yet developed to that these companies are money oriented but not think about to make vehicle comfortable for people. Now sccoters up to 150cc are availabl but hp and torque are at lower side .Mileage is average at 50,60kmpl.why dont they make gear scooters because bajaz chetak was alread there.or retune the avt present scooters to high mileage like 100 cc bikes.i think bazaz only will do wondrs for people but not hero etc.
