Monday, 27 December 2021 12:01 AM The Honda CBR150R 2014, though discontinued, was last priced at Rs. 1,23,406 in India before it was taken off the market. This sports bike was known for its vibrant color options, including Vibrant Orange. Its performance figures included a 0-60 kmph time of 4.9 seconds, making it a favorite among enthusiasts. I think its discontinuation left a gap in the 150cc sports bike segment.
Monday, 01 September 2014 02:38 AM The 2014 Honda CBR150R boasted a 149.4 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 18.28 HP at 10,500 rpm and 12.66 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. It had a 6-speed transmission and a kerb weight of 138 kg. The bikes performance was notable, with a top speed of around 138 km/h. I think its engine specs made it a strong contender in the 150cc segment.
Friday, 15 August 2014 07:49 AM The Honda CBR150R 2014 had a distinctive design with a full faired body, telescopic front suspension, and a spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension. The bike also featured 276mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes, along with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. Its design elements contributed to its sporty and aggressive stance. I believe the design was one of its strongest selling points.
Tuesday, 29 July 2014 02:57 PM In 2014, the Honda CBR150R was updated with new colors in Thailand, but these updates did not immediately reach the Indian market. The bike featured dual-tone styling with carbon fibre accents, giving it a sporty look. This visual update could have boosted its appeal in India, especially during the festive season. I believe such updates would have kept the bike competitive against rivals like the Yamaha R15.
Sunday, 01 June 2014 07:40 PM Despite its impressive specs, the Honda CBR150R 2014 was priced at Rs. 1,30,422 (on-road, Delhi), which was considered optimistic by many. However, its riding dynamics and ergonomics justified the price for those seeking a true sports bike experience. I think the pricing was a bit steep but worth it for the performance it offered.
Tuesday, 20 May 2014 11:58 AM The 2014 model of the Honda CBR150R competed directly with bikes like the Yamaha R15, KTM Duke 200, and the upcoming RC 200 in the Indian market. Its competitive edge lay in its Honda Racing DNA, which ensured it was a capable machine both on the track and regular roads. I believe it held its ground well against its competitors.
Thursday, 10 April 2014 07:42 AM The bike featured a digital odometer with a traditional large rev counter, and its fuel tank capacity was 13 litres. The seat height was 795 mm, and the ground clearance was 190 mm, making it accessible to a wide range of riders. I think these practical features added to its appeal.
Tuesday, 25 March 2014 07:32 PM In terms of mileage, the Honda CBR150R 2014 was estimated to deliver around 35-45 kmpl, which was decent for a sports bike in its class. Its fuel efficiency was a balance between performance and practicality. I believe this made it a viable option for daily riding as well.
Saturday, 15 February 2014 09:53 AM The 2014 Honda CBR150R had a compression ratio of 11:1 and used a viscous paper air filter. The bikes clutch was a wet multi-plate type, and it had alloy wheels with tubeless tires. These technical specifications contributed to its overall performance and reliability. I think these details showcased Hondas attention to engineering.
Friday, 10 January 2014 07:16 PM When launched, the Honda CBR150R 2014 was seen as a significant addition to the Indian sports bike market, bringing the CBR brands racing heritage to a more affordable segment. Its introduction generated a lot of excitement among bike enthusiasts. I believe it was a bold move by Honda to enter this segment.

I bought a CBR 150R an year back. It's cool and I'm impressed with the performance. The silky smooth engine is one of the best points to be noticed. Everyone can simply compare the bike in city roads. The actual performance can be tested only after riding it for 100+ kms. Once you crossed the 100 kms, the performance of the bike seems to be roaring. The main point to be noticed is Engine Idling. When you start the bike every day, leave it for few minutes till it reaches 3 points in heat. Then you can feel the smoothness. Oil change and chain tight should be done at the right time to maintain the performance. I touched 137kmph at 10,500 RPM. May be we can get 140kmph @11,000RPM. I didn't tried. Long distance travelled in a day: 650kms. Cleared 21,000kms in 1year and no problems other than brake pads and sprocket. Maintenance free bike and best in class. Honda = Quality. Mileage varies: 32 to 35kmph in city and 35-40 kmph in highway. For more mileage maintain below 7000 RPM and for more feel maintain above 6000RPM. Gear shifting at 11,000RPM will gives enough power to compete with 200NS. I'm planning to go for 250R for better performance.

Best Features: Riding positon.

Pros: Power above 7000 RPM, style, colour,

Cons: Low torque, Build quality, Head light should be in fireblade style
