Honda CB Trigger Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Termed as the replacement of Unicorn Dazzler which was launched in 2013, Honda CB Trigger is one of the most feature packed motorcycles in the 150cc segment. It is powered by Air-Cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine, 149.1 cc engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 14.35 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and an utmost torque of 12.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
It competes in the Indian market with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZ and Suzuki Gixxer series. With the kerb weight of 135 kgs only, the bike could have been rather successful if not for other stunning options from Honda in the same 150cc segment. The low sales caused the amazing bike to get discontinued from the production. It was originally on sale in India at a starting range of INR 68,667 - 78,234 and came in 3 amazing shades of Pearl Siena Red, Meteor Green Metallic and Black.
The overall look of the Honda CB Trigger was all the way sporty and it came packed with some powerful features. The top speed of the bike as claimed by the company was 1100 km which was quite good for the busy roads. The bike was introduced with a full LCD instrument console, alloy wheels and LED tail lamps to give it a sporty stance. The bike was available with disc brakes at the front and an option for CBS (Combi Braking System) or rear disc brakes.
The monoshock suspension at the rear was capable of offering a better control on the rood and rather comfortable riding. The 175mm of ground clearance was enough to keep the bike proportionate and easy to handle. The bike was equipped with Viscous Paper Filter for keeping the pollution under control. Honda CB Trigger would have been a large hit if there wasn’t much competition in the 150cc segment for the Honda bikes itself.

User Reviews for Honda CB Trigger
Fully Satisfied with my Machine
Honda CB Trigger is a sporty looking commuter bike. It holds smooth engine, I am happy that it doesn't make loud noise on top speed. I have completed 17000 km on this bike and it is giving me 55 kmpl average on highways and 50 on city roads. I have traveled a lot with my friends on long distance tours and believe me it offers fatigue free ride. I never faced any problem in bike yet but I can say its paint quality is poor.

Good Bike in 150cc Segment
It is a winner in its own terms. It has a sporty design which is quite eye-catching and its handling power is also very impressive. It has wide handlebars that make the handling easy and comfortable. It is a fuel efficient bike which offers me a mileage of 60-62 kmpl on highway and 40-45 in cities. The engine sound is smooth and you will feel like you are driving a car. The braking system is efficient and the mono suspension present at the backside of this bike is very responsive. The only drawback is that it does not have 6th gear.
