Our take on this /// Verdict
Its much-anticipated Bajaj Pulsar RS400 model is expected to debut in July of this year. It has a sporty look and a slight aesthetic upgrade. Its aggressive design incorporates its USP: cuts, fits, and panels. However, Bajaj has given the Pulsar RS400 even more muscle, enhancing its sporty appearance while keeping it true to a 400cc bike.
Price
Bajaj Pulsar RS400 price is expected to be around Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
Latest Updates
Well, we are sorry to say that there are no signs of the launch possibility now. It was speculated to be launched soon after the Dominar 400. Even though Bajaj has updated its flagship Dominar 400 with all-new BS6 compliant emission norms, there are no signs of the possible launch, the fastest pulsar in India.

Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Review
Overview
The Bajaj Pulsar RS400 has been one of the most awaited motorcycles in the Indian market as it is expected to stir up the sports bike segment in particular. I have to declare as a reviewer that my first impressions when viewing the RS400 were influenced by the very aggressive theme as well as the Pulsar brand’s history of offering performance bikes at competitive pricing. Such a type of the RS400 is likely to seduce the riders seeking a feeling of power combined with a perfect design at low costs.
Design and Aesthetics
The contours of the Bajaj Pulsar RS400 can be understood from the perspective of some really hardcore sports bikes of today’s age, which place an emphasis on aerodynamics and an aggressive approach towards styling. The motorcycle is basically a faired version of the smaller cousin, RS200, but the complete body fairing is characterised by more cuts and more muscularity enhancing the sporty look. The twin-projector headlamps are beautifully coupled with LED DRLs and there is no forgetting the tail lights which are LED also.
There are plans to offer a number of attractive color options for the RS400, which would include yellow and white, red and white, blue and white, and all black options. Its contoured fuel tank and split seat arrangement contribute to its aggressive stance while making it practical for long journeys as well. The RS400’s aesthetic appearance and appealing lines work in perfect symbiosis as well as rational solutions, which respect any creative imagination and aerodynamic demands.
Performance and Powertrain
Under the maelstrom of the scooters Bajaj Pulsar RS400 stands a 373.2 cc water-cooled single cylinder engine embedded deep into the Pulsar architecture, which is sourced out from Dominar 400 and KTM Duke 390. This engine displacement is expected to produce maximum of 42 PS power at 9000 RPM and 34.5 Nm maximum torque at 7000 RPM. The engine control unit is equipped with six speeds of manual transmission with slipper clutch for downshift smooth operations.
According to the company's one of its particular web resources, the RS400 is fit for the everyday use and highway driving with the highest estimated maximum speed of the bike operatively up to 175 km/h. The weapon also features a ride by wiretype throttle and an advanced stability enhancing system which makes it efficient in all riding environment conditions. Personally, I found riding the RS400 to be fun filled, the bike came fitted with a very responsive throttle and a riding position that is slightly more restrained than that of the RS200.
Features and Technology
Modern technology trends are equally embraced in the design and engineering of the Bajaj Pulsar RS400. The bike also comes with an all-digital instrument cluster that enables Bluetooth functionality for calls, message notifications and navigation hands-free. Also, ride modes viz Road, Rain, Sport and Off-road are available to suit the different riding conditions.
Some of these include dual channel ABS and disc brakes which are fitted on both ends – front and rear for adequate braking power. RS400 is also fitted with high intensity discharge head point lights and led daytime running lights for safe rides at night. In my opinion, it is one thing to have all these technologies but it is another to be able to appreciate the simplicity of their control, which is the case, especially for the RS400.
Variants
It is likely that there will be different variants of the Bajaj Pulsar RS400 model, although as expected, there will be a base model variant. This refers to instances where some features such as ABS and different color schemes are added. The possibilites of differences in variants could also involve small functions changes or design changes to fit’s user’s preferences. Personally, I would prefer the variant with ABS as it currently holds the most promise in terms of market share, especially for a sport bike such as the RS400 which warrants such features.
Market Position and Pricing
The Bajaj Pulsar RS400 is category-appointed inn the Indian market as a mid range sports bike that is direct and competing with many others in the same class and price range for INR 2 lakhs to INR 2.5 lakhs. This pricing places it against competitors like the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 300. RS400 pricing is clearly positioned below X250 but above the price of domination 400 and that of motard performance such as that of cruiser 90cc which deter the cost conscious riders but not the performance aspects and styling conscious.
Target Audience
The Bajaj Pulsar RS400’s core market consists of cosmopolitan working professionals and college students who have a zeal for bikes and want reasonable performance, look and price. The bike’s sportier dynamics and added features also attract experienced bikers who wants to switch from lower cc motorcycles. According to me the RS400 is very well suited for short trips and a few track days because of its well rounded performance and ergonomic comfort.
Value for Money
The price of Bajaj Pulsar RS400 is justified by actually performance as well as the features and prices offered by Bajaj. The motorcycle is unique to its category in that the manufacturer has made available a high performing engine, high technology, and eye catching design at reasonable pricing. To me I would say the RS400 has the best pricing considering one is dealing with a reputable brand and this brand has good after sales service.
Mileage and Fuel Efficiency
The RS400 is likely to have a mileage of 25 to 30 km/l, which is quite good for a bike of this class. Because of such fuel efficiency, this machine can also be used for everyday rides and long distance travelling, meeting the two extremes perfectly. Relative to its rivals the RS400 has a reasonably satisfactory mileage, making it possible for riders to go on spirited rides with less frequent refueling.
Competitors and Comparison
Opposition from KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310 and Kawasaki Ninja 300 makes Bajaj Pulsar RS400 quite challenged. Even in this aspect, RS400 manages to stand firm but with sexy features of sporty compact and advanced lighting. Performance-wise, it gives the same kind of power equipment effective as KTM RC 390, but cheaper.
Whereas TVS Apache RR310 is better in terms of low drag shapes and race design, RS400 users do not have burning issues due to angry throttle because there are different ways of operating the bike comfortably. Priced above the Kawasaki Ninja 300, which gets good marks for smooth run and reliability, the RS400 is still a cheaper alternative but much feature wise.
Conclusion
To conclude, one can safely say that the Bajaj Pulsar RS400 will be a game-changer in the Indian sports bike arena. The salient features comprise of muscular engine, cutting – edge technology, sassy looks, and affordable rates. The target audience for the RS400 is rather extreme and comprises of kids as young as teenage craze or old time bikers all thanks to the reasonable price and performance offered. As a testament to my overall experience with the RS400, I can say that it is simply brilliant and it will appeal to most motorcyclists in India who prefer an exhilarating ride without losing out on practicality.
Is the Citroen C3 suitable for city driving?
Yes, the Citroen C3 is designed with city driving in mind making it an ideal choice for navigating urban environments. It is easy to maneuver through city streets, small parking spaces, and clogged traffic thanks to its small size and agile handling. The automobile is more suited for city driving when its agility is paired with features like a quick steering system. Additionally, the Citroen C3 often comes with a comfortable interior making daily city driving a more enjoyable experience. Whether you are navigating busy streets or finding parking in crowded areas the Citroen C3 is crafted to provide a convenient and efficient urban driving experience.
How is the drive quality of Citroen C3?
The C3 soaks up rough roads, potholes, and broken patches in a manner that would make a multiple-time WRC-winning company proud. Which Citroen is! The C3 makes bumps disappear and it doesn’t bob or bounce. The tall sidewalls for the tyres give it added cushioning that lets the C3 just glide over broken roads. It’s absolutely wow on this front! Citroen says that the C3 is meant to be fun to drive too. As it turns out, despite its comfort factor, the C3 isn’t soft and sloppy at high speeds. Sure, the suspension is supple, but it is also controlled. In bends at high speeds, there’s a bit of body roll but then it settles down. It actually feels composed and stable even over 120kmph! So, Citroen’s rally pedigree can be experienced in the way the C3 soaks up bumps and the way it likes to be hustled too.
Which one is the best, Citroen C3 or Toyota Glanza?
While each vehicle excels in its own right, the Citroen C3 offers the functionality and room of a compact SUV for the cost of a hatchback that is comfortable on a range of surfaces. But it also lacks several basic equipment such as motorized adjustable mirrors, windshield wipers, and other creature conveniences to which we have grown accustomed from its competition. On the other hand, if you are looking for a hatch that satisfies a lot of needs the Glanza is an excellent option. It has more capacity than several more costly sedans an efficient engine selection, and a respectable features list. Therefore, you can choose the Glanza if a roomy cabin, good features, fuel economy, and power output are your top objectives.
What is the minimum down payment for Citroen C3?
The down payment typically amounts to 20–30% of the vehicle's on-road price, while the ROI varies from 9.25–11.5% and is entirely dependent on the individual's CIBIL/Credit score. Therefore, as they will be better able to help you, we would advise you to walk into the closest dealership to obtain the final financial quotation and supporting documentation. Which car is better, Citroen C3 or Maruti Wagon R?
Both vehicles excel in their own fields, but the Citroen C3 offers the room and functionality of a compact SUV for the cost of a hatchback that is comfortable on a range of surfaces. However, it is also devoid of many creature conveniences that its competitors have made us accustomed to, such as electrically adjustable mirrors and windshield wipers. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, on the other hand, is the perfect little family vehicle. It has two engine options is efficient, practical, and capacious. It also has a convenient automatic transmission. Additionally we advise you to do a test drive to gain a better idea of compatibility and comfort when driving. Motorcycles are not cell phones. They need to have durability. When someone invest more than 1.5 lacs he is expecting a motorcycle which will run smooth for at least 5 yrs without basic maintenance. I spent more than 50k to maintain my RS200 in 3.5 Yrs finally with a heavy heart sold it off. Very very poor built quality of bajaj. I am really disappointed. I loved my bike so much. But for such a poor built quality I had to sell it off.
