Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc Review

01 Mar, 2023 04:39 PM

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

The Pulsar 150 Twin Disc's design is based on that of the other motorcycles in the Pulsar series. It has a large bike-like appearance thanks to its recognisable headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, single-seat, dual LED tail lights, and alloy wheels. The Pulsar 150 is a handsome motorbike, but the riding position requires a little bit of commitment for comfortable riding.

The dimensions of the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc are within segment norms. Overall, the Pulsar has the appearance and proportions of a large-capacity motorcycle. Despite its age, the Pulsar's overall size qualifies it as a motorcycle in this class. It has a length of 2035mm, a width of 750mm, a height of 1115mm, and a wheelbase of 1345mm.

A 149.5cc single-cylinder twin-spark engine powers the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc. This engine produces 14 horsepower of max power and 13.25 Nm of peak torque. The 5-speed constant mesh gearbox makes it fuel-efficient while still delivering adequate power. This bike efficiently achieves a real-world fuel economy of more than 50 kilometers per litre.

The Pulsar 150 TD comes standard with 17-inch black alloy wheels. Each brake duty is performed by a single 280mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake. The Pulsar can be stopped in the required amount of time thanks to both brakes operating in tandem. Among other things, the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc sports a single-channel ABS and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

The Pulsar 150 has excelled in terms of ride and handling since its introduction. Although the stiff suspension might be harsh at times, the sporty ride quality is adequate for city use. The Pulsar 150 rides smoothly and keeps its cool when carrying a passenger. Another aspect of the category in which it excels is handling. The rider displays confidence at all times, and the overall ride-handling experience exudes confidence.

Motorcycles are not cell phones. They need to have durability. When someone invest more than 1.5 lacs he is expecting a motorcycle which will run smooth for at least 5 yrs without basic maintenance. I spent more than 50k to maintain my RS200 in 3.5 Yrs finally with a heavy heart sold it off. Very very poor built quality of bajaj. I am really disappointed. I loved my bike so much. But for such a poor built quality I had to sell it off.

Please add new features for a digital meter like Gear number indicator, Distance to empty, and Real-time mileage and also dual ABS channel. According to me, these features are most important for getting the best riding experience. Please you must add these features in pulsar 150 Dual disc brakes variant
