Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 3.0 Review

After an official confirmation from Yamaha, the next generation Yamaha R15 would be soon a reality. No time frame for the launch has been slotted by the company while there have been loads of renderings for the next generation of the bike. Most of the fans believe that YZF-R15 V3.0 would be a faired version of the M-Slaz, retaining the tail section and the premium dynamics of the motorcycle. Still, the all new front fairing and use of premium components would define what R15 version 3.0 would actually be in its production version.

The first and most important change would be the use of sharper front design with LED headlights. Yamaha's signature face will be a decade old if one or two years passed without an update. The instrument console if actually very good currently but use of fully digital console with a colored display would be the first preference of Yamaha. The visual differences will be inspired by the bigger R series motorcycles for sure.

The engine on the upcoming R15 will get performance upgrades for sure. It will be refined to a next level and could produce more than 18-19 BHP and 16-17 Nm of torque. Yamaha will retain its Deltabox frame and it would be most probably made much stiffer than before. The addition of ABS would be actually mandatory around the period of its launch. These features will leave no card unturned and Yamaha could regain the lost sales due to other bikes around the price segment.

If most of the features listed here are introduced, the Yamaha R15 V3.0 can gain a considerable amount of hike in its ex-showroom price. The estimated cost can go up by INR 5,000-10,000 while the quality is expected to stay undoubtedly the best from others in the segment.
