Should you pay the premium for the Bajaj Chetak 3501 TecPac over the standard model?
Bajaj Chetak 3501 is available in different variants, with TecPac as top variant. Besides that, it comes with features like extended warranty, larger battery, and some tech upgrades. But it’s also a major price bump. This gives potential buyers questions about value for money. Do the added features really justify the extra cost for yourself or does the added peace of mind count for more? Would the standard model be enough for the average user? The debate over whether to future proof your purchase or save money immediately comes up often in EV discussions, as the early adopters consider. This is the kind of decision that can affect more than just the first purchase, but rather how you will be owner for the long haul and what the eventual resale value will be.

It all really depends on your area. If you have Bajaj service in your area that is reliable, you might skip the TecPac. Otherwise, that extended warranty could save your life.

If you’re just dipping your toes into EVs, the standard model is fine. If you're all in though, the TecPac is your best bet.

This is all about future proofing. The resale value down the line will also be better with the TecPac. Think long-term!

I chose the TecPac and kinda wish I hadn’t. While it’s nice to have the extra features, I don’t really use them. I should have gone with the base model.

Depends on your usage. The larger battery in the TecPac is a game changer if you are commuting daily. No more range anxiety!

Nah, save your cash. For 90% of the way there, the standard model is enough. Use the difference for a nice helmet or some accessories.

Absolutely worth it! Just the extended warranty gives me peace of mind. That extra coverage is gold, since EVs are still new tech.
