The Triumph Scrambler 400X has been the only scrambler in the country for a while now, and the Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has now joined the fray, but how will it fare in the Indian market?
13 January 2025 09:12
RE's going to surprise everyone with some high end features to match Triumph.
So how does the Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 fare as an overall package and in the value proposition vis a vis the Triumph Scrambler 400X?
13 January 2025 09:07
It all depends on what you want. The Triumph feels more like a styled road bike and the RE feels more like a proper scrambler.
Is the KTM 250 Adventure worth the price premium?
13 January 2025 07:11
At first I was skeptical about the price, but after having it for a year I am convinced. The cost alone is justified by the versatility—it’s like having multiple bikes in one. And the service intervals are longer than most competitors, saving you money in the long run.
Did KTM price themselves out of the market with the 790 Adventure, or is it worth the premium over Japanese rivals?
13 January 2025 06:56
If you are mostly on the road, it is not worth it. Japanese alternatives are better value for money.
Is the XEV 9e Pack Three premium worth the premium over lower variants?
09 January 2025 11:16
It depends on your needs. If you’re a tech enthusiast who loves gadgets, Pack Three is a dream. The only problem is that for regular commuters, perhaps not.
Is the premium of the BE 6 Pack Three worth the cost over lower variants?
09 January 2025 11:10
The Pack Three is totally worth it if you can afford, disagree. The more impressive part is that 79 kWh battery, which completely eliminates range anxiety, and the premium features like ADAS and the panoramic sunroof really make the car feel like a premium product. You get what you pay for.
But will the Himalayan 650 command a price premium over the 411, as expected?
09 January 2025 10:54
It's all relative. It will probably still undercut the big adventure bikes by a lot even if it's pricier. It could be a great middle ground for those who want more power than a KLR or DL650, but can’t justify spending big bucks on a GS or Africa Twin.
Is the Himalayan 450 worth its price bump over the previous model with new features and performance?
09 January 2025 10:50
But you have to think about what you get for that price hike. It’s not a bumped up 411, it’s an entirely new bike. Feature for feature, it's still a bargain when you compare it to other adventure bikes. I think RE had to raise the price to make all these improvements and I think they've hit a good balance.
Will the Royal Enfield Classic 250 sound the same iconic 'thump' as the larger brothers?
09 January 2025 09:11
I'm concerned that they’ll overdo it with the thump, and come up with something that sounds fake. It’s better to allow it to have its own voice.
Will the Bullet 650's engine character be anything like the iconic thump of the 350?
07 January 2025 11:46
They'll tune it a bit more characterful than the Interceptor I reckon. Perhaps a louder exhaust and some engineered vibration to make it feel Bullet like.
Is the Bullet 350 ES hype all about the 'thump'?
07 January 2025 11:28
I think the hype about thump is overrated, honestly. The new Bullet 350 ES sounds decent, it’s not the earth shattering roar people make it out to be. It’s better to concentrate on the bike’s overall performance and comfort.
Will the Himalayan 450's less expensive price tag and slightly lower feature set cannibalize sales from the Bear 650's more premium features?
07 January 2025 11:14
No, they go after different riders. If you’re a serious off road enthusiast, the Himalayan 450 is for you, however, if you are more the urban rider who occasionally takes trails, the Bear 650 is for you.
How does the Z500's real world fuel consumption compare to what Kawasaki says?
07 January 2025 10:41
I ride all over the place and my fuel economy varies wildly. If I'm easy on the throttle I can get close to 70 mpg. It gets around 50 mpg when I'm riding hard, but.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
Absolutely worth it! Basically, the Aerox is a sports bike in scooter form. The R15 level performance without the hassle of gears is what you get. Ideal for commuting through city traffic, or weekend jaunts.
Can the MG Hector Plus justify the price premium over its 5 seater sibling?
07 January 2025 09:30
It’s not just the extra seats that make the Plus feel more premium overall. It’s worth it for me thanks to the interior upgrades.
Does the European styling and driving dynamics of the Skoda Kylaq excuse its premium over more feature loaded rivals?
07 January 2025 05:29
If you are going to keep the car for a long time, I would say it’s worth it. The feature laden but less refined alternative will probably age less gracefully than the build quality and driving experience.
Is the premium the Kushaq commands over its rivals worth it for its build quality and long term reliability?
07 January 2025 05:16
I’m not sure it depends on your priorities. The Kushaq is an excellent car if you want one that feels premium and enjoy driving. If, however, peace of mind and low running costs are your priorities, then look elsewhere.
Is the Skoda Kodiaq a premium worth the extra outlay over mainstream SUVs?
06 January 2025 10:46
I believe people underestimate the power of good engineering. The chassis tuning and overall driving experience is a cut above a mainstream option, and while the Kodiaq lacks the bells and whistles of a luxury SUV, it’s the best of those mainstream models.
Can the Skoda Elroq's interior tech and features give more premium EVs a run for their money?
06 January 2025 10:18
The tech lineup is impressive, and that AR heads up display is what impresses me. Skoda is stepping up their game, and it’s great to see. So let’s be real, at the end of the day, it’s all about the software experience. All that fancy hardware won’t mean much if it’s laggy or unintuitive.
And how has the Nissan Sunny changed in its many iterations, and kept up with changing consumer demands?
06 January 2025 10:04
Over the years, the Sunny has definitely improved, in terms of fuel economy and safety features. It’s still a step behind the competition in areas such as infotainment and design.
