Will the Kia EV5’s distinctive front bench seat option take off?
10 March 2025 06:40
I think it’s great for making the most of space in a compact EV. It’s thinking outside the box… or inside the box, as it were!
Does the new split seat design on the Pulsar P150 really increase comfort and practicality?
30 January 2025 10:35
I honestly don't like the split seat. The old single piece seat is more practical but it looks cool. In every way, it didn’t solve the two main problems: There wasn’t a way to stretch and, further, it was impossible to slide off a few inches for a sample. Also, it was a pain to clean all of the nooks and crannies. I miss the old design’s versatility.
Does the Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum’s long seat really work or is it just a gimmick after all?
29 January 2025 09:19
It's actually pretty awesome. When you're alone, you can slide back for a more relaxed ride; when you have a passenger, scoot forward. You can also strap stuff to the back part. It feels like it's a built in mini luggage rack.
Can we really call the Discover 125T Disc's pillion seat a "torture rack"?
29 January 2025 07:46
Having ridden pillion quite often, I’d say it’s fine for short trips, but after 30 minutes or so, it starts to become uncomfortable. Definitely room for improvement.

28 January 2025 07:31
The Rebel 250 helped me learn to ride effectively when I started on it as my first motorcycle. Because of the low seat height, I was confident, and the power felt completely manageable. While highway performance leaves much to be desired, the bike excels for city riding and backroad beginners.

Is the Tata Magic CNG 8 Seater a good family vehicle?
24 January 2025 10:38
There is no way I would use this as a family car. It’s too basic, too old, and has no modern safety features. My kids deserve better.
How is Tata Magic CNG 8 Seater better than auto-rickshaws for last mile connectivity?
24 January 2025 10:38
Quick, short trips are still king for the autos. The Magic is too slow and too large to navigate zipping through traffic.

Is the KTM 890 Adventure’s stock seat comfortable enough for long-distance touring?

The stock seat locks you into one position, and that shape of the seat is not comfortable over time. A lot of help comes from an aftermarket seat with a flatter profile.
What does the lower seat height of the KTM 390 Adventure X do to its off-road capability?

It has a lower seat height that is very good for building confidence off-road, especially for beginners. If you need more clearance, you can always add a taller seat later.
The under seat storage on the Chetak 3502 TecPac is a 35L which begs the question: Is that much storage on a scooter practical or excessive?

I think the idea is great but I'm worried about security. If the lock isn’t robust, that’s a lot of valuable stuff that could be stolen.

For shorter riders, is the KTM 390 Adventure’s seat height off-putting?
13 January 2025 06:40
I’m short, although that hasn’t stopped me from learning to adapt. Stoppages were taken one foot at a time, with slight sliding off the seat as required. In fact, it has actually improved my all-round riding skills.

The great thing about it is that there’s none of that, because there’s no way you can be tempted to take a passenger on this thing. Keeps it pure and focused.
