Daily commuters will agree that one of the most important factors on a motorcycle is seat comfort, and riders have discussed the Discover 110’s seat design. It gets praised for its cushioning and support for long rides, or others find it lacking for long times in the saddle. The debate is usually about the shape of the seat, the material of the seat and how the seat influences posture in various riding conditions. Riders compare their experiences of the Discover's seat versus other popular commuters in the segment and talk about heat buildup, water resistance and longevity over time. It also includes discussion about the availability of and effectiveness of aftermarket seat options for those wanting improvements. DIY tips on making a seat more comfortable come from some riders, while others debate whether seat comfort should be a factor when considering what commuter bike to get in this price range.

For a budget bike, it’s surprisingly comfy. I have no problem doing 30km every day.

The seat's too narrow for me. After an hour or so my butt goes numb.

I then added a gel pad and it's perfect. Big difference, small investment.

The Discover's seat is like a sofa, compared to my old Splendor.

For short trips it’s ok but after 50km you will feel it.

The material of the seat can be better. Summer it gets hot and when wet, slippery.

I believe it works just fine for what it is intended for. It is not for people expecting luxury.
